[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

I have not owned it before. I get the success message but it doesn't show up in my account . So there is an issue with it.

According to another user, you can use the following link: https://www.gog.com/giveaway/claim to claim a key.

In my case, it says I already claimed the game, but I haven't received any email with anything at all.

Yeah, something's wrong. I clicked the button and it said 'Success! STASIS was added to your library' without receiving the game.
Then, I used the link provided and it said '{"message":"Already claimed"}'. Again, without receiving the game.
I didn't get an email, an order, or the game in my library. Curiously, I'm subscribed to marketing emails anyway.
I hope this is another patience queue like the Amazon keys, having STASIS added tomorrow.

Same here, but I already had it, and thought I could at least have something to give away myself this time, so I'm glad to hear that GOG haven't "improved" their giveaways in a manner as to intentionally not give it to people who already own one of those at their site.

Anyway, this way they've reminded me to unsubscribe marketing emails for now, since they've also annoyingly begun sending advertisements via that bell symbol on the web site, if I'm logged on.

No, I already had tried that link, with the same result: "Already claimed".

UCrest: Is it just me, or is GOG not permitting me to obtain an additional STASIS key in this giveaway?
P.S. I purchased the game a while ago on GOG, but I would have liked to have access to a temporary gift key. :(
It's not the first time GOG doesn't allow us to claim extra keys. :(
During Whispering Willows giveaway, I already owned it and it did not either. It just appeared as if I already owned it and did not allow to claim more.

This same behavior applies to newsletter discounts. It seems like there's a general flaw in the code redemption backend that precludes usage of any code if the game already is in the library?
