Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

Submerged: Hidden Depths from Epic works without the launcher. There are no popups of any kind and there is no need to use any switches to persuade the game into running. However the game has two executable files:

The one located in SubmergedHiddenDepths will produce an error.

You will need to go into SubmergedHiddenDepths\Submerged\Binaries\Win64 and run the file Submerged.exe that is found here.

Mafia - free on Steam and works DRM-free without Steam link

For Windows, the game's default install location is Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

You can copy\move the Mafia folder elsewhere then uninstall from Steam. To run the game, don't run the Game.exe in the initial folder as this just produces errors, you'll want to run the Game.exe file in the Mafia\Mafia folder.

Thanks! I'm not familiar with that game and just saw the price on another site. It sounds like those games on itch that are absolutely always on sale 100% off.

Spirit of the North (3.44GB) has no DRM, just run Infused.exe in the game folder. This game did sit there for a bit as if it was deciding if it was going to work or not, but this could have been entirely my laptop.

The Captain (1.24GB) has no DRM, just run TheCaptain.exe in the game folder.
