True, but as I said limit it. Allow like 1 change a month or every 6 months. I mean you can contact GOG support right now and they will change it for you, so this would simply eliminate the middle man which is GOG support. So even without doing this, anyone can technically change there name it's just slower and more of a pain. If someone is a scammer/ troll I'd imagine GOG bans them by IP if there that big of an issue when reported, and limiting should mostly solve the problem of constant changing.

Some people get tired of having the same old name forever, and now that Galaxy is being released you are forced to use your GOG identity when playing online... should we be stuck with crappy names we selected for a forum while playing online or having to go through the pain that is GOG support? I think a lot of us would like some quick easy way to change it, like Steam...even if it's limited.

That's neat and all, but ever since this site update GOG has slowly felt like its going into the dumps.

I've been around since the beta site, and every single update since has had a bit of hate but ultimately not been bad at all, and as a matter a fact I thought the previous version was just fine. But this version is just terrible. It looks worse than the previous version and it functions like ass. Whats going on over there?

This forum on the other hand has ALWAYS been terrible though. Does anyone remember how long it took them to just add a PM system?

So the merge seems to have broken their forums a bit. Tried to check my unlocked achievements and it led to an "invalid action" page, and if their thread about it is any indication, some people are suddenly suffering from the forum recognizing them as logged out when they're logged in (sound familiar?).

I'm not even mad. It takes skill to break something as foolproof as a simple vBulletin forum.
