(I was asked by a fellow Goglodyte a few days back what else everyone could do to help Doc out with the game. I've had some time to think about it and I think I have a few ideas. If everyone would put their actions in bold, it would really help out for both me and Doc in locating everyone's actions. I noticed a lot of you already do that but some include their actions within walls of other text making it hard to locate. Another idea is to make a new post if you edited your original actions. I keep up regularly with all 4 threads and record your actions to a notepad then paste it all into the Summary. Unfortunately, this also means that if you go back and edit your actions, I may not see it so the new post helps inform me (and Doc) that you changed or updated your actions.)

Loradan got ready to evade any incoming spell from the penguin below, so he positioned himself behind the mast and floated 1 meter higher than the crows nest floor.
The creature didn't have a clear line of sight and would have needed to destroy both ship parts to hit him.
By the way, if the captain (or its zombies) managed to harm any good-aligned creature, the mage was going to peek on the side and cast Dispel Magic on it.

Hooyaah: What would help immensely in the synopsis is a breakdown of the situation at hand in any rooms, spaces, and corridors and what active threats there still are. It would be helpful to know, also, what the NPCs are doing and/or have done since the last report. This will help promote situational awareness for Doc and everyone else. (I thought Doc's last Turn Update covers all that. I can try and figure out the number of enemies left in each tunnel but to be honest I'm having trouble keeping track of that part. You all may get inaccurate information from me if I did that.)

Northern side tunnel:
The acid rain stops.
21 - Danric the Exiled - Human Paladin *rolls dice* groggily comes to.
56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior tell your companions to stop at the sound of the Illithids voice in your head. The word Drow shouted from the far end of the room as acid rain falls snaps you to attention. You try talking to the Illithid but it is unconscious.
*rolls dice* You move to the corridor where Hummer is tied up.
1 - Hummer - Elven Ranger *rolls dice* struggle to free yourself to no avail.
10 - Squee - Goblin Thief *rolls dice* picks himself up gingerly, aching in several places. *rolls dice* You see no traps and using your cloak you climb the walls to the ceiling.
61 - Vanathradil - Elf Mage *rolls dice* you cast Invisibility on yourself before moving up to Hummer as silently as you can. You throw some gold coins down the tunnel as a distraction before attempting to untie Hummer *rolls dice* which you do.
34 - Stefareth - Human Necromancer you go to head back to the main tunnel before sensing something wrong and running back into the room.
Seeing Danric struggle to consciousness, you help him drink your healing potion.
77 - Aurelia - Elf - Cleric you summon a Holy Guardian. You order your Holy Guardian to stomp on the Illithids head *rolls dice* which it proceeds to do mushing the Illithids head into a pulp.
You cast Heal on Danric *rolls dice* success.
1 - Hummer - Elven Ranger stretches the aches out of his arms and legs after being untied.
21 - Danric the Exiled - Human Paladin feels much better having been healed by both Stefareth and Aurelia

What do people think? Was it intended for us to go through the trapdoor and continue from there?

muddysneakers: Squee picks himself up and quickly scans for traps and secrets in the corridor. Assuming he finds nothing he enters the shadows and using his cloak he climbs to the ceiling where he can both see down the corridor and the trapdoor where he fell. If he has time he sets his gas trap at the far end of the corridor first before climbing to the ceiling, otherwise he just climbs to the ceiling. What did you see down there? Was there a passage that could lead somewhere? Is there a ladder we can use to go down the trapdoor? If you don't know, you can pm the Doc and post here

On a regular situation I would probably fight the pirate penguin or go down with the sip (no pun intended), but with a time limit maybe fighting the Kraken is our only chance of escape, so uneasy alliance it is. Being my turn to speak with BJ, I should get as much information as we need and go after the Kraken as soon as possible. No turns to waste!

(Isn't Danric fully healed? I don't think he needs a soldier carry. However, Squee was also hurt but didn't receive any healing love.)

It seems the damn penguin is our only way out of the dungeon. Let's cease fire and negotiate for a minute. Time to put charisma stat to use.
I rise my voice and reply to BJ:
"It seems the end of the world is upon us. Sea Bird, it's time to reach an agreement. But good faith goes both ways -you'd better stop taking life off my comrades if we're going to cooperate. As long as all hostilities cease upon our groups, my sword will be another loyal force against the monster. Tell me about this Kraken and how we can help you defeat. I, and all of those who choose to follow this one last adventure, will join your expedition and face the beast. In exchange I only ask for safe passage out of this godforsaken cavern, and may we never cross our paths again".
Also, I wonder if those bones with some meat could be of some use against the Kraken. Does someone have any poison abilities/potions?
