I arrive in front of the room. Nearby is Rizzleskiff. We don't speak for now but we both are aware of the other's presence.

I try to take a peek through the door to see if the Ice Elemental had any encounter.

OldNick - Drow Thief - northern side tunnel.
StrangerDanger elven ranger follows behind
66 - Tomato - goblin thief

Since the other party members are checking the middle room, Tomato is checking the left room for traps and tresures.
** TURN 6 **

Northern main tunnel:

10 - Squee - Goblin Thief *rolls dice* checking the chest, there is definitely a trap there but he cannot disarm it. The trap will either be activated or disarmed by performing a certain action.
Frustrated he jumps up and down and examines the keys and the hook. There is no trap but there is a drawing next to the keys. The drawing shows a large circular room with an open chest in it, weapons and treasure glowing brightly in the chest.

34 - Stefareth - Human Necromancer stands a little back from the chest ready to aid in any way he can.

65 - Grom Grombly - Half-Orc Shaman stands beside the Necromancer and makes a little joke about whether they should resurrect any who falls or raise them as mindless servants.

56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior enters the room with the chest, grumbling about the mage. He suggests turning the keys one by one while everyone else stands ready to help if needed.
He volunteers to do the deed if someone not so vertically challenged were to hand him the keys.

51 - Henz - Elf Thief also has a look at the chest. He notices the same trap as the goblin did, it can only be activated or disarmed by performing certain actions.

42 - Aleric - Dwarf Cleric waits outside the room in case anyone needs healing.

55 - StrangerDanger - Elven Ranger who has been very quiet up till now, follows the others to the room.

66 - Tomato - Goblin Thief advances to the far room that the two Bone Knights came from, checking for traps as he goes. *rolls dice* He turns up no traps in the room. There are several broken chairs and excrement left by some large animal in one corner.
His thief instincts tell him to check the excrement, being a Goblin this does not bother him at all. *rolls dice* He finds a golden handled dagger with exquisite balance. Tomato receives Dagger + 3.

** TURN 6 **

Northern side tunnel:

16 - Rizzleskiff - Drow Shaman stops levitating in front of the room. She casts Summon Ice Elemental and orders it into the room.

37 - OldNick - Drow Thief arrives by the room and respectfully keeps his distance from the larger female Drow. He peeks into the room to see where the Elemental has gone.

*In the room is a long table with six chairs spaced around it. Six Goblins are chained to the six chairs, four of them are dead with their skulls cracked open and their brains gone, just traces of gore left. Two goblins remain alive although their faces are scrunched up in confusion. The Elemental stands by the table awaiting instructions.
You see an Illithid, otherwise known as Mind Flayers, lean towards one of the surviving goblins. Standing six feet tall, the humanoid with an octopus like head wraps its tentacled face around the goblins head.
There is a crunching sound and the goblin breaks out of its confused trance with a scream. The screams become more frantic as its brains are sucked out through its broken skull with a loud slurp.*
*Illithids often work with Drow to achieve common goals.*

16 - Rizzleskiff and 37 - OldNick feel a presence in their minds.
"Ah, I though I sensed members of your nefarious race approaching, welcome to my little soiree!"
"Please enter and let me know what brings you here, so far, far from home."
*rolls dice* *rolls dice* You both notice an air of menace in that last comment.
"I seem to be forever hungry these days, still, maybe this last goblin will sate my appetite".

1 - Hummer - Elven Ranger jogs to catch up with the Drow, stopping just short when he sees they have stopped at the rooms entrance, looks of concentration on their faces.

64 - Kubajz - Halfling Thief waiting for his companions to have all moved safely past, he resets the flame trap leaving an inconspicuous mark on wall by it. He moves further up the tunnel towards the room.

Squee thinks the strongest 3 party members should try to unlock the chest using the keys at the same time. Maybe the paladin, warrior, and ranger together. Maybe one of the spellcasters or healers can cast some buffs.
Rizzleskiff speaks to the Illithid:
"There is a great and mysterious power at work here, strong enough to transport some 7 dozen adventurers from all lands and races while the power itself remains hidden. I do not know how you came to be here, but this same power has set traps and released fearesome beasts. I suspect this mysterious power has also rearranged the physical layout of this... dungeon? underside of a mountain?
I don't suppose you know anything of this power? Or of how you came to be here? Or which way is out?"

While making this speech, Rizzeskiff mentall directs the Elemental to position itself between the mind-flayer and Rizzleskiff.
I enter the room not knowing if I did it because I wanted or because I was told to.

Rizzleskiff already told the Illithid that we don't know how we came to be here.

I am curious if the Illithid is willing or able to help us or at least give us some information about where we are and what can we expect.

I've never heard of an Illithid eating a drow's brain but they did use us in the past as hosts so we are not safe here.

Umm, guys. Does any one of you have the keys?
[56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior] [Northern Main Tunnel]

"So, can someone tell me something...any traps here?" pointing to the chest

"look at that drawing, I told you that the hornet reminded me something...."
"If you all agree I'll simply use just one of the keys... the hornet one inserting it into the hornet keyhole, do you agree?
"If yes, pass me the hornet key and I'll proceed"

My obvious superiority and amazing intelligence are not used to such mundane tasks but since some of you are vertically challenged I will grab all three keys from the hook. (I grab the keys) Here you are, Damon (I pass all three keys to Damon). Squee agreed with me that we should better turn all the keys simultaneously. The rest can tell their opinions and we can decide democratically afterwards. Btw, Mr Paladin, where are thou? Since you are the most charismatic in here, could you make sure that the treasure in the chest is shared in the best way that will maximize our chances in the dungeon?

"If you're gonna open that chest then I'll wait at safe distance" I said as I walk back far enough for me to feel safe.

BTW I don't mind a good dagger if it's in the chest. Mine is good too, but a better one is always welcome. Or if there's a bow or crossbow to attack from distance. It will increase my chance to survive in this dungeon, which in turn will increase all of us chance to survive as well.

"I perfectly understand you and and the goblin had the hunch to insert and turn all the 3 keys in first place when we all saw this room... but it was before we noticed that drawing!" I point to the hook where they keys were placed

"It's clearly pointing to the chests that were present in the room we came from, look at it!
It's a drawing of a circular room, what other circular rooms have you met? Anybody have noticed there were 2 chests in that room?? I did! and one of them had the symbol of an hornet on it!
I know it because I checked it personally... and the same symbol is here again, while the other two have no match.. or not yet at the moment... So we have to keep in mind there could be some bait of a trap
Probably someone of our experts already noticed some traps on the chest... can someone confirm?"

Kubajz entered into the room and immediately stopped after his first step. He got freezed when seeing weird scene. Breathless.

Fastly jumping view between unknown creature (Illithid) and dead goblins bodies. No idea what happened here.
All his senses are focused to Illithid - Kubajz is trying to remember if he has ever seen or heard of anything like it. Though can't feel it he is pretty sure that there is something more than can be seen.

Staying with feet sticked to the floor. Passively expecting what will come now.

Long moment later, when his breath returned, his thieves skills came back. Looked around if see anything valuable what can be taken away.
