junk11: I am glad I do have the physical copy of Devotion, but I am disappointed for people who can't get to enjoy or support the creators.

CDPR, you let me down twice this year now, and I thought 2020 cannot get any worse.

Sotiris The Firebrand: Where did you get the physical copy? I want one, just for preservation and collection.

Sotiris The Firebrand: Where did you get it?
It's a time-limited edition in Taiwan this year, so it's rather hard to get.

Darvond: I'm inclined to believe that anyone capable of decision making fled the building so everything has been left up to an offbrand Roomba with a dart attached to it.
Ok that actually made me laugh out loud.

First the massive CP backlash and now this. It couldn't be a better timing for sure, eh?

The Gog Twitter feed is getting hit really hard, even outside of there tweet about not releasing the game, keep it up.

Good News (tm)! After years of failed communication attempts, GOG is finally listening to GAMERS now! ;P

CDPR cannot be trusted anymore. If they will bow to China to censor one game they will do it again for others. They don't care about us anymore. They are not a pro consumer company anymore.
I am liking the gradual increase on the wishlist entry, let's get that fucker up to at least 1000! Or even beyond that...

Please also show your support to Red Candle Games as they have lost a pretty important revenue stream due to the cowardliness of GOG.

Anime-BlackWolf: I think GOG wants to make friends with the chinese to MILK the "Cyberpunk" Multiplayer microtransactions to NO END. Quite simple to figure out...

ReynardFox: Oh shit, you're probably right on the money there.
It does seem like some Cyberpunk related Chinese business deal is really to blame for this, and in that case, GOG/CDPR should drop it. I'd say it wasn't worth the loss of goodwill, but I think it's too late for that. It will take months, if not years to restore some trust, and too many people have been burned for good.
Still, for people thinking that flocking to Steam is a good alternative, Valve has some pretty dystopian stuff in the works, here are some features that you can look forward to one day. Good luck walking away from your Steam library when Valve pulls these out.

GoG should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for this, I don't believe a word of their statement, was 100% down to pressure from Chinese nationalists. I expect better of this company.

Just disable the damn game on the Chinese GOG store, if they are so offended by it, and let the rest of the world buy it!

GOG should run for political office; I heard they need more spineless people. =/

What a pathetic display of kowtowing. For all its worth I also voted for Devotion. Not that GOG seems to give a shit about its actual consumer base.

Fuck China, and, more specifically, fuck their regime.

I hope the coming backlash will blow up massively in your face, GOG.

Came here to add my voice. This makes me absolutely furious.

GOG has a chance to save a developer that was ruined by censorship and did nothing wrong.

What fucking "gamer" is pro censorship? People want this game, I want this game!
