Well, my hopes for the second week additions of the Valiant Bundle weren't fulfilled since only "Book of Death Deluxe" ("Book of Death" + "Book of Death: The Fall of the Valiant Universe", all in all 8 issues) was added. The good thing is: It's an addition of 300 pages and it's pretty new. I still would have preferred older Volumes that would have completed Act 2 or Act 3 of the Valiant Universe ...

Okay now, people that already bought the current Groupees VIP Dynamite Bundle might get angry now because Comixology has two new "Dynamite Mega Bundles":

https://www.comixology.eu/Dynamite-Mega-Bundle-V-1/bundle/1670
https://www.comixology.eu/Dynamite-Mega-Bundle-V-2/bundle/1671

The second one is rather uninteresting since it is exactly the same as the Groupees bundle - although slightly cheaper if you're living in a Euro country (€17,99 instead of Groupees' $20 which would be about €19 plus fee for not paying in Euro). BUT: The first bundle is essentially the $10 tier of the Groupees bundle except that it completes a few of the series! So it contains:

Identical to Groupees bundle
- "Shaft: Imitation of Life" (#1-2 of 4)
- "Wolfcop" (#1)
- "The Green Hornet: Golden Age Re-Mastered" (#1-3 of 8)
- "Cage Hero" (#1-4), complete
- "Homies" (#1 of 4)
- "Will Eisner's The Spirit" (#1-6 of 12)
- "Xena: Warrior Princess" (#1-2 of 4)
- "Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt" (#1-5 of 10)
- "Smosh" (#1-2 of 6)
- "Red Sonja" (#0)
- "A Train Called Love" (#4-6 of 10)
- "Lady Demon" (#1-4), complete mini-series
- "Intertwined" (#1 of 6)
- "The Great Divide" (#1 of 6) (Groupees: $20 tier)

Additional
- "Army of Darkness: Furious Road" (#1-6), complete (instead of only #1-2)
- "Evil Ernie: Godeater" (#1-5), complete (instead of only #1)

So all in all you get four complete (mini-)series instead of two for €8,99 or $10 plus some single issues. That's certainly a better deal than the Groupees bundle!

Another great Humble IDW Bundle: Mostly complete miniseries or even series ("Kill Shakespeare"), only few bundle repeats (most notably the four "Parker" graphic novels and Vol. 1-6 of the brilliant "Locke & Key", also "Little Nemo", "Ragnarök" and "30 Days of Night" that were all part of Groupees' "Bundle of Independents"). Also some brand new comics (that's mostly the single issues).

I'll definitely buy the $18 tier.

But it's still a shame that you can't trade or gift comics from Humble Bundles ...

well that's one thing you can do with Groupees which is a plus I guess

Great analysis. This bundle is really good.

Speaking of trading. Do we have a thread for trading comics? I've been looking for Groupees Dynamite bundles #1 and #2 that were rebundled as gifts in more recent bundles but not many people reply on Groupees trading system. I'd be willing to trade some HIB game gifts or pay money for them.

I think one problem with the trading system on Groupees is that people just put it up there not expecting to get trades (and forget about it)

Can't help with that but if someone is unsure about the new IDW bundle (or about which tier to buy) I could trade or gift Vol. 1-2 of "Locke & Key" as well as Vol. 1 of "Parker" from Groupees' "Bundle of Independents". Haven't read "Parker" yet but if someone hasn't got "Locke & Key" yet, this series alone would be worth the price of the bundle - and I'm sure whoever reads Vol. 1 and/or Vol. 2 will want to know how it ends at all costs anyway ... ;-)

(of course I would also give away other Groupees' doublets as well so if someone is interested in some specific comics from "Dynamite Fantasy Bundle", "Bundle of Independents", "Pure Dynamite Bundle" or "TopCow Bundle" you can always try and ask - unfortunately I "revealed" all earlier Dynamite bundles - and thus cannot gift them - because in the old Groupees layout that was often the only way to see which file belongs to which comic ...)

Second week additions of the Humble IDW Bundle:

"The Maxx", Vol. 5-7 (now the complete series is in the bundle)
"Frankenstein Alive, Alive!" (#1-3), complete miniseries

I think now it's safe to say: This is one of the best comic bundles yet, if not *the* best!
Marvel again with their (twice annual?) b1g1f sale at Comixology. Ends 3/13/16 iirc.

Combines with some of the other sale collections for even better savings.
And Comixology again with a new Dynamite bundle, the "Dynamite Noir and Detectives Bundle"; 25 items, €17,99, 59% off:
https://www.comixology.eu/Dynamite-Noir-and-Detectives-Bundle/bundle/1669

"The Damnation of Charlie Wormwood" (#1-5, complete)
"Seduction of the Innocent" (#1-4), complete
"Shaft" (#1-6), complete
"Sherlock Holmes: Year One" (#1-6), complete
"Witchblade: Demon Reborn" (#1-4), complete

With the exception of "Witchblade" all have been bundled before, but at least it's all complete (mini-)series so if someone doesn't have any of it yet it's a pretty good bundle.
Dark Horse is selling the Essential Usagi Megabundle for $69.99. As usual with these Dark Horse promotions, it's unknown for how long this bundle will be available for purchase.

I've been burned before by these 'megabundles'. Twice I've bought them (a bundle and an [url=https://digital.darkhorse.com/bundles/6678/aliens-megabundle-2]Aliens bundle) only to see a much better bundle being offered not long after. Given the 'all or nothing' nature of these promotions, I was pissed.

This Usagi Yojimbo bundle seems a safer bet seeing as nearly everything that Dark Horse has on the character is included. It covers most (if not all) of the content originally published by Fantagraphics (issues #1 to #38) and a fair chunk of what Dark Horse has published (issues #1 to #138). The volumes also include some extras.

Excluded seem to be the four 'classic' issues, issues #139 to #160 of the ongoing series, the 'senso' miniseries (six issues), some art books and one graphic novel.

I'm very torn on whether or not to purchase this bundle so I'd appreciate your thoughts on it or on the series in general.
I've only read a few issues of Usagi, back in his early Critters appearances days, but loved them and always thought I'd eventually go all-in on the series. But life and thousands of other comics kept getting in the way. This might be my impetus to get on board, although to be honest I already own enough comics for multiple lifetimes....

You're certainly not the only one - and at the moment I'm additionally busy with reading Marvels new "Star Wars" comics thanks to another free Marvel Unlimited month ...
Another "recycled" Dynamite bundle at Comixology, the "Dynamite Zombies and the Undead Limited Bundle" (€8,99/$9,99). Every single one of the featured comics has already been bundled before but at least it's all complete mini-series:

https://www.comixology.eu/Dynamite-Zombies-and-the-Undead-Limited-Bundle/bundle/1681

"The Living Dead Vol. 2: Exhumed" (#1-6, Groupees)
"The Mocking Dead" (#1-5, Groupees and Humble Bundle)
"Raise the Dead" (#1-4, Storybundle)
"Reanimator" (#1-4, Comixology)
"Super Zombies" (#1-5, Groupees)
