It would be interesting to analyse old games retrospectively to see if that theory has legs
Regarding modkills, Lift states:
If/since this is true, Why would SPF--an experienced player, mind you--ask for a modkill, knowing it is worse for town
What I called for was a modkill assuming that it would give us a chance to pick a more informative target for the lynch. I stand by what I said, you say "Knowing it's worse for town" as if that's a matter of fact rather than opinion. I think you're new, right? In that case I'll take this with a pinch of salt. If you agree with Lift's reasoning then fair enough, but don't just assume that he's right because you trust him more than me.
However, rereading the whole situation with your counter-argument also in mind, I don't think there was enough momentum on anyone to have gotten an alternate D1 lynch. If I am reading this correctly, you wanted to dispose of 2 players on D1.
Also, the "knowing it's worse for town" was at the end of a sentence with the modifier "If/Since". I put the If there before the since for a reason--I was (in part) trying to stir up discussion, but it mostly didn't occur.
----
As for the blending in - I'm not sure I follow, what do you see trentonlf gaining from having a vote on Fran67 on record, especially after being locked on supplementscene for the last two days of D1?
I don't see Trent as losing anything by voting for Fran. There was a lot of pressure on her, and jumping onto her train would have been very easy, with little consequences. if we have scum!trent, he loses nothing by voting for her; indeed, mafia gets an easy, (mostly) unchallenged kill. Also, he sees that his attack on Scene is going nowhere, and if they want to preserve all scum for D2, he better vote for someone (and get a sure lynch) he knows isn't scum.
IOW, basically everyone was voting for fran. There was--at the time--nothing overtly scummy about voting for an inactive player. It would be easy to hide aongst all the town, especially as he was the 8th to jump on her train. Indeed, his vote was not even counted as voting for her.
Thus, his vote was fluff. It had no meaning. It was as easy to vote for her (knowing it wouldn't be officially counted, and maybe forgotten about) as the whole "vrote" early on was meant as a joke.
I still dislike ZFR overall, he is too glib and explains too well for my liking.
I suspect everyone on general principles, but at the top of my list is SPF, ZFR, Lift(?), Trent(?), and Scene.
As of writing of this, I do not suspect any enough to actually lynch them, however. Which is annoying to me.
----
See my reasoning above. I didn't know if the lack of unvote was so that the new vote wouldn't be counted and wanted to stay on record with his previous vote, while looking like he voted Fran.
---
As HSL lays out in 477 (and Scene backs up in 482), Lift looks suspicious. However, HSL could simply be a convincing writer.
---
Dedo, hsl, lift or scene. They seem the most active. Trent and zfr are much less present, spf and pooka are almost non existent, Korotan is lost in space.
And I almost completely forgot about microfishd...
Now I'm caught up. Lift looks bad, but not bad enough for me to vote for him. I get that SPF is out of town, and I hate posting on tablets. However, none of you are scummy enough for me to vote for. Thus, I'll stick with my D1 choice & currently
vote SirPrimalForm

No problem. I wasn't playing well and at this point my lynch was inevitable anyhow since a Vanilla claim usually doesn't prevent a lynch. But, since Joe didn't finish the Day yet, I get to say one more thing: my role isn't called 'Vanilla'. Joe used another term. So you might want to ask future Vanilla claims for their actual role denomination. Then the other 'Vanillas' can compare that (secretly) to their denomination. Unless, of course, every Vanilla has a different role-name, which I wouldn't put past Joe.

if desired, someone could unvote lift and thus unhammer? or is the hammer the final thing, with no turning back?
(I really hope this doesn't turn into a double post :O )

As D2 progressed my eyebrow kept going up, but if it turns out that it all was due to your dislike of my play-style, I'll be very arghhh! Anyway, moving on.
Regarding your request back in post #536, I haven't had the chance to do a reread of him or the thread in general with having guests (who won't leave before some time Thursday) on top of everyday things, but I will try my best to do one during the Night.
And now that things have calmed down, I noticed that SirPrimalform managed to end another Day without sharing a single thing about his thoughts on the board or/and his suspects. Amazing.

I became a bit unsure about Lift when scene so vehemently voted him, but would have hammered too if it came to that.
blotunga
"but so far besides him latching himself at some point strongly on my heels doesn't gives off any unusual vibes."
Last game blotunga was very loud when scene falsly accused him. This time "no vibes"? I tell myself not to tunnel but I swear that duo feels odd.

So I back to Lift being hammered. I don't believe he is likely scum, but the lynch details will tell us everything, I hope it turns out he was scum, otherwise our scum are one among:
Register:

03 - The Supplement (Supplementscene)

07 - Inkblot (blotunga)
08 - Serpent Rime (SirPrimalform)
09 - The Canton Calf (Trentonlf)
10 - The Hypersomniac (HypersomniacLive)
11 - Koro-Koro Tank (korotan)
12 - DeadProng (Dedoporno)
(This is from an observer perspective, hence why I am on the list). The problem is, after scene and SPF, everyone's been making good arguments about the other players. And that's not good. For example, as Microfishd said earlier, HSL could be a convincing writer. And so is everyone up to this point. This is damning. I also have to wonder about the next night kill, if any.
I suggest everyone do ISOs on each other.

Safiros beats Puzzlebot and Beatrice with a thick book of documents.
”How could you have made a stupid mistake with Every. Single. Votecount???” She spits. “It takes six votes to reach majority with eleven people.”
”Wah!” wails Beatrice, “Do the votecounts even exist in our narrative? You’re destroying the verisimilitude!”

Lifthrasil has reached majority and is now eliminated.
”Yeah!” Grins ThrashSeal, as he finds himself surrounded by Saviours. Pulling a huge black axe from out of nowhere, he chuckles, building to a rich rumbling belly laugh. “Let’s do this! RAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUGHHHHHH!!!”
The Canton Calf swoops down with a graceful roundhouse-kick, followed by quick, elegant jabs, weaving and gliding away from the heavy axe swings. ThrashSeal parries the hits, slowly stepping forward, pushing the Canton Calf back. The Canton Calf backflips into a balanced battle stance, accompanying the move with a serene harp chord. TrashSeal throws his axe high into the air, grabs the harp with both hands, breaks it over the Canton Calf’s golden mask, and hurls the Saviour round, tossing him over his shoulder right into Hypersomniac, who had been sneaking up behind the lone warrior. Hypersomniac wakes with a start, shocked and disoriented.
ThrashSeal catches the falling axe and uses the momentum to bring it up and into The Supplement’s guns, which were being carefully aimed. The Supplement’s guns go off, shooting high and ricocheting off Koro-Koro Tank’s rock carapace. Koro-Koro Tank charges a Koro-Koro Cannon and ThrashSeal grabs The Supplement and drops to the ground, swinging the bewildered Saviour over himself as a human shield. The blast sends both flying, and Koro-Koro Tank aims a second shot at ThrashSeal as he spirals through the air. The Koro-Koro Cannonball lets loose with an avalanchine boom – we follow the projectile in slow motion. Just as it approaches ThrashSeal he comes into contact with the communications screen, crouches into it, and, stabilised, uses his axe like a bat to repel the projectile. Time suddenly speeds up as Koro-Koro Tank is swept away by his own power.
ThrashSeal crashes to the floor. His axe falls a few feet away. He scrabbles towards it, but it is delicately picked up by the suave Inkblot.
”Tell me,” Inkblot says, softly; without judgement, “why do you think you need to resort to such extravagant displays of hostility?”
While ThrashSeal questions everything he thought represented himself DeadProng smacks him on the back of the head with the butt of his trident, and ThrashSeal goes limp.
The various Saviours pick themselves up from where they fell, and go to unmask the fierce fighter – all in one piece, the beard and tattoos lift away with the mask, to reveal an unfamiliar face.
”Facial recognition complete. Identity confirmed.” Bleeps Puzzlebot. “Subject is Antonia Daressa-Lamb. Citizen or Earth, Civilian.”
Safiros raises an eyebrow as if to suggest that she was incapable of making mistakes.
Lifthrasil is Eliminated. He was Antonia Daressa-Lamb, Regular. Team Heroes.
It is now the action phase. Silence on deck.
Action Phase will last approximately 24 hours.
(Apologies for the consistent errors with the votecount :p Stupid Puzzlebot. )

The camera pans away from the Saviours, many of whom are nursing injuries from their scuffle, and rests on a communications screen, which displays the pod containing The Civilian Formerly Known As ThrashSeal as it floats away into the void. There is the sound of a scuffle, and a voice cries out in alarm. Safiros is heard bellowing.
"What the hell is going on down there?"
The camera pans back down to the Saviours, all stood in different positions. In the centre of the screen, someone is sitting, looking dazed, wearing white floaty tatters, a black trident in one hand. DeadProng’s skull mask is on the floor beside them.
[i]”This was not authorised.” Safiros growls sternly. “I’m sorry Murwat Al Burtar; you, too, will have to be escorted off the Contra Astraos – your identity is compromised.”[i]
DedoPorno has been eliminated – he was Murwat Al Burtar, (Conditional) Visitor, Team Heroes.
It is now the Third Voting Phase.
