LOL. So you’re hosting a game elsewhere, my heart hurts for you. I work Monday through Friday 8-5, I spend as much free time as I possibly can to support my daughter while she’s going through cancer, I don’t have a ton of free time to analyze and post. Shall we continue the sob stories outside of this game or just focus on this game and move on. I think we should focus on this game and move on, if you can’t do that I suggest you find a replacement because I could care less about some other game you are running.

I've gone over your posts up to this one twice now. Still don't see why you'd be happy to lynch PookaMustard.


I must say that I expected, or at least hoped, for more than this. While I can understand that one can't be in mafia_state_of_mind all the time, I'm rather disappointed to see this as part of the reason for your absence. At the very least, you could have popped in to say you're not in the right state of mind.


Putting aside the fact that I never made a concrete accusation (you only have to (re?)read my posts), there's something about your early exchanges with blotunga (starting from post #67) that made me wonder if there isn't some sort of buddying up going on. Like neither of you were seriously squinting at the other one? They read to me sort of bantering, those "vote" exchanges between the two of you, along with the whole referencing of OMGUS-ing from past games included, i.e. they never even counted as votes in my eyes, let alone as serious ones.

And frankly, even now that you defend yours as a serious vote, I'm still wondering about those early exchanges.


It's not some personal oversensitivity on my part, votes need to be clear and not open to interpretation and/or retroactive enforcement for all the reasons others have already stated. That you don't think this is a serious matter, and have to ask, raises my eyebrow.

I was going to say that it is indeed interesting, yet that it doesn't answer my question of what you think of the fact that he doesn't seem to be concerned (tone in his latest posts still reads blasé), but after refreshing and reading his post #257, I may have gotten my answer.

I apologize to everyone for my reaction to Scene, even if it’s warranted IMO. Today is the 25 year anniversary of my father passing away and that on top of my daughter having to extend her treatments and I’m on edge. I know it’s a poor excuse, and it will not happen again.


That being said, Scene I still have no interest in talking with you outside of this game or anything that’s not game related in the game.

I was a tad optimistic in those earlier posts in that I was hoping/assuming that I didn't have several more days of headache (migraine?) ahead of me. I ended up skimming the posts since my last post but couldn't face reading the several days worth of posts I'd missed earlier. While my normal MO is lurky, it's lurking in the sense that I read but often don't post. In this instance I'm sorry but I just haven't been able to keep up with the thread. I'll have to read during the night.

Quite the opposite, Joe stole 25 minutes from us if that post is to be believed!

With it being more than 4 hours since Joe's 4 hours post and only 15 minutes away from being 10 hours after his 10 hours post, I'm going to call it.

I've stated multiple times already my view on your vote being counted retroactively, so won't go into that again.

As for blotunga being near the top of your lynch list - you've listed four people in your "I'm happy to lynch" list, and another three in your "and I'm willing to lynch" one. That's like half the player base, and he's listed last.
You and I have a very different definition of what "near the top" constitutes.

It's weird. Seeing scene a perfect player in the Secret Hitler game, and then all of this happens.

So...it seems the deadline hasn't come up yet. Assuming we remain a majority on lynching Fran, I am anxious to see what the end result will be.
