Seriously though, keep in mind what the guys wrote, it's just a game. It's ok to dirty talk people in the game, call them stupid etc, but in the end, we all part as friends, no matter if we won or lost.

Hello, sorry I've been plagued by splitting headaches this week. Reading large passages of text is un-fun but I just realised it's been a couple of days and I haven't checked the thread. Sorry for my absence. Am I right in thinking the deadline is sunday?

I came on to check the thread, see where I stand, and let everyone know that I'm spending a still unknown amount of tomorrow at the hospital undergoing tests, i.e. late, and minimal and spotty participating, but noticed this during the first read:

Wait... did you retroactively add supplemente's "Shoots Blotunga" in post #68 as a valid vote, because he came back 70+ posts later and told you he meant it as one? Seriously?

I guess we can now type whatever+player_name, in bold or not, and come back at some later point and claim it was a vote, and expect it to count.

If this sort of thing was clear in the sign-up thread, I wouldn't have claimed a spot in the roster; imho, how voting works should be clearly defined in the rules from the beginning, and everyone abides by them.

I'm getting actively annoyed by this whole situation and with the risk of sounding unwelcoming and harsh I'm not sure I want to play with Fran any longer, even if they decide to make an actual appearance.

I agree with Hyper on the vote issue. If votes can be counted at a later point that are not bolded and were not counted before I’m not sure I want to participate in the game. It’s not hard to bold a vote and it detracts from the game when they are not.

I'll be back later to respond, but I would also say that if a vote is not in the following format (and on a seperate line?) it should not count:

@mod/Joe/CaptainSapphire: vote [name]

This would clear up confusion for everyone--the mod and other players--and would help us see what is a joke, and what is a vote.

it was--for me, anyway--your randomness and the confusion you induced in me in the first 35-37 or so posts. Since then, everything can look perfectly fine or suspicious, depending on how much you read into it. I don't even recall all my reasons, but my gut went "ehhh" on some of your posts, and I'm just not sure about you overall. However, you have been instructional and serious enough that I want to keep you around for now.
