Emachine9643: We need to build a great wall and protect our community from the danger of the outside forums!
Which is why you should vote for Donald J. Trump.

Not only will he build a wall, but he'll make Bioware pay for it.

Hello there, my Italian friend.

anothername: It fits.

And its sad it does fit.

Then again the Bioware I loved and cared about is long gone anyway; this now is just a company using familiar names.
This. There's no one left at Bioware who created the games that made their name for them, with the exception of writer Drew Karpyshyn, but he's left once already, so I'm assuming it's only a matter of time before he heads off in search of greener pastures as well.

Ah, well. At least we still have Obsidian!

phaolo: The forum desperately needs a moderator now.
Just one?

I know of times in the Telltale forum when eleven weren't at all sufficient, and the GOG forums are (a) more expansive and (b) worse due to years of neglect.

"One" would be still better than the current "none".

No objections here. :)

Cavalary: Sad news due to what it means, as any such piece is. And for the switch to social media, handing over your communication with your audience to other networks and companies and letting them ultimately control what happens.
Outsourcing at what they are not good. Half the internet already takes places in social media networks. Not sure I like that much.

Trilarion: Half the internet already takes places in social media networks.
And we still need to turn around from that... (Older piece, and not directly related perhaps, but still good.)

Agreed, you have to start somewhere.
Wouldn't it be possible to make some of the most reliable or qualified members to Mods?
I know a forum where it's like that and it works just fine there.

Sounds like a better plan then they have now, which is no plan at all.

The problem is that the "Mod power" here would be like "The One Ring" XD

Thanks, but I wouldn't do it.
low rated
Bioware forums closing, is bad. Beamdog forums closing, now that would be both good and interesting! Plus, USEFUL!

Sounds like a possible plot for an rpg.

paigosa: Sounds like a possible plot for an rpg.
Or a plot for REAL life, itself.
