WBGhiro: It's kind of funny both males and females have one franchise 3 times as best anime.

Oh.. Browsing thru news, owner decided to close the site voluntarily.

VeTrack: Btw, YoI isn't even in the top 400? That's a bit surprising after grabbing all the headlines not so long ago. In other recent news, Medvedeva improved on her Sailor Moon routine.
[url=https://twitter.com/JannyMedvedeva/status/854669590437048320]Tweet from Evgenia X-D

Much better ads than normal Mac-ones in here. Oh, these have regional ones and casting has few AKB48 Team 8 members (even regionally casted). :-)

And something new.. VisualArts is bringing Little Busters! English Edition in steam, it's Greenlit. \o/

""Little Busters! English Edition" is a new version produced by further upgrading the "Little Busters! PERFECT EDITION". The new edition supports HD resolution for the first time on PC, and allows switching between Japanese and English languages."

I'm wondering if it's the adult version or the normal one

Well, Perfect Edition is all-ages version and we're talking steam here so no way they are going to release adult version. X-) Besides Little Busters was originally released as all-ages.

MiKiL: So NHK Best Anime 100 poll ended finally and the results are:

WBGhiro: It's kind of funny both males and females have one franchise 3 times as best anime.
Happens every time with k-preference voting ("name your top k"), especially unranked.

(I can't Japanese so I have no idea what was the actual voting scheme.)

Can't find what the rules of voting were but I remember that person could cast three votes per day during
voting time (8.1.2017 - 31.3.2017). It also had "Reason why I voted these"-field to write a comment.
Lists were total mix of tv-series (seasons were separate items), ovas and movies.

There were some VN with adult scenes that got released entirely on steam lately, like Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning.
I just got my hands on a trial version of the new Touhou Project game, Hidden Star in Four Seasons. Compared to the previous titles up until now, I like some of the changes while others are "Why?" levels of changes.

For instance, the lives system from one of the earlier Touhou games is back compared to the modern "life pieces" system it has adaopted, and that's a good change. However, enemy attacks are now reduced to only be 30 seconds long while giving most of the characters limited range to adopt to that sudden change. But overall, I like it.

You can watch me playing a blind run of the game here.

I'm kinda disapponted with konosuba to be honest. I really liked season 1. I tried out the first volume of the VN and it wasn't that great t be honest I was expecting it be a lot more fleshed out, but its pretty barebones. A lot of the humour also falls pretty flat when it's nto in motion.

I didn't really like season 2 that much either, none of the established characters grow in any way and it feels like its recycling the same jokes over and over (Darkness in particular feels like a one-gag-pony). I wasn't excpecting the usual hero arc to occur, but nothing changing at all doesn't feel right either.

The only episode i really liked was the last one, and even that one doesn't really give the season a lot of purpose.
Aldnoah Zero, Ajin Demi-Humans, and Seven Deadly Sins are my favorites in order.

Whoa I've totally missed it I guess since I don't remember seeing the name. Still, sort of cool to find uncensored VN in steam.

I've always had this small twitch to test Touhou.
Those are more of remembering bullet patterns than having over the top reaction time?
ZUN was pretty busy at weekend duplicating some stuff. X-)

Wow, I'm shocked, always thought it be around like TPB. The uploaders are kinda left drifting in the wind now unless they all had their own sites/links which I now wish I had documented T_T

Touhou is about remembering bullet patterns, anticipating, and sometimes quick reactions. In other words, you'll find all kinds of patterns that will test all of your skills. Pretty brilliant, too. Give this small twitch just what it needs!
Gabriel dropout has been a hoot to watch, Love it and will get it when comes out on blu ray
Just some findings from the week:

VisualArts published planetarian HD (steam). English language not supported at the moment but they are working on it.
Degica is going to publish Symphonic Rain (steam) by KOGADO STUDIO. I do hope that they bring more in future.

While browsing thru Seven Seas Entertainments catalogue, I found that they are going to publish Dragon Half by Ryusuke Mita. Sort of cool to bring almost 30 years old manga to western markets. X-)

Studio Ghibli is recruiting staff for Miyazaki's last feature animation, production begins in October.

----

Whee, finally got last volume of Kotonoba Drive and something new, Shinkaigyo no Anko-san (or Anko-san of the Deep Sea Fish).
