Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes? I hear Sleens taste better. ;)

On the topic of school comedy, I just want to say two words: 'Rumble' and, er... 'School'. Who knows what I'm talking about? ;P

Thanks for the list! Though a few of them looks a bit off, that wiki has a habit of overdoing it. Some of the tropes are so obscure, some just bizarre. But I can't help noticing one amusing thing: Out of so many different names, there's nothing standing in between 'He-' and 'Iy-'. ;)

Your meticulous record keeping is quite remarkable, I'm too lazy to do all that! =)

MiKiL: K-On!
I never was quite sure what iyashikei was even supposed to mean until i saw K-On! Now I understand.

I understand everything.

K-on is truly a magical anime.

Tatami is one of those that I know I've watched, I believe I understood something while watching it, but now when I think about it, I can't recall much other than a couple of the more memorable scenes in the finale... I'm even debating if I should re-watch it after all these years.

Since you've just finished it, care to elaborate more? But don't reply to me here, I don't want to necro this. Post it over at the general thread I'm maintaining.
Darn, no one told me a general thread has been created, despite me asking for one :/

The central theme...or rather, the message is about living your life with the choices you have made, instead of wondering what could have been had you taken different ones at certain points. It shows that picking A doesn't necessarily lead to happiness, same with picking B. One has to handle the choices one makes properly, with the right attitude (the main character always has the same attitude, so the results are always similar). And instead of being disappointed that something turned out that way and regretting it, it's important to look at the bigger picture (so not just the result but also the road and what's beside it).
The characters apart from the main one are also pretty cool and fleshed out as each episode shows a bit of them but most of the time it's a different one. So at the end, they are fleshed out instead of just being flat ones (Jougasaki is a good example).
At the same time, at the end, you have a clear picture of who is doing what and how they are all connected, despite the anime always just showing different choices.

Thanks for replying! It's all coming back to me now and if I'm not remembering it wrongly... All of these only make sense at the last or second last episode through the MC's epiphany, right? The idea is sound but the execution is iffy... At the very least, the pacing could be better.
Why did nobody tell me Little Witch Academia is gettng an anime? The two short films were fantastic, I hope this one is good as well.

I still have to watch Space Patrol Luluco as well. So many things to see. So little time.

Also it's Princess Mononoke's 20th anniversary

What an excellent excuse, to finally find some time to watch it... I wonder just how many years i had all but forgotten that, in my huge "to watch/read list"... Thanks for the tips!

Yup, grain of salt is necessary when browsing tvtropes. :)

That's a good one. X-D

Meanwhile, other news.
Piapro is way ahead for Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary, they opened teaser countdown site here. (Counting to: August 31)
Visual Art's is financially planning Kud Wafter-anime. Wafu!

Come on, it is Akiba Souken's 3rd Most Anticipated Anime! :P

Btw, what kind of anime are you interested in?

Lol... Is it always this early or it's just because of the 10th Anniversary?

Not really. You actually get it before the second to last episode. At the end, they are just really driving the point home. The pacing is interesting as it doesn't really have one. I mean, the first nine episodes are one block and then the last two are. Dunno, it's hard to judge the anime in a classic fashion. It's interesting in itself for sure though.

I've never seen anniversary sites (of any) opened this early so I guess it's because of full 10 years. :)
And SEGA does seem to have projects going on to celebrate that day so they might post news there later on.

In hindsight it does seem weird that a short film that is a couple years old made it into most anticipated list of 2017. But I mean, it's so good people might be really excited to watch it again next year.

They should have given it some kind of subtitle at least.

As to what anime I'm interested in, that's a pretty broad question that I can't even properly answer myself. I guess i'm more of a style instead of a content guy, because usually I see pictures or segments of certain animes posted and just go "Hey, that looks like something i should check out sometimes".
Just finished one punch man and I have to say it was really good and one of the best shows I seen in a while with great art to boot.

^that, i rarely see people mentioning art and animation when talking about one punch man while it was really superb and smooth.

Guess I have to re-watch it one of these days. I do remember the last two episodes being somewhat different but not much on the first nine.

I was going to mention an anime because of your country but it's under the psychological genre and not a lot of action scenes. So it might not fit your 'style', oh well.

Now, it's going to be a long wait. That was just an appetizer! :P

Nah, it's to be expected! =P

No, seriously. For those of us who already know OPM before its anime or Murata's other works or even those who know about Madhouse... Let's just say there'll be more chatter if it isn't superb/smooth than if it is. And I actually prefer a few character designs in the manga over the anime. Not to mention, there's something quite remarkable about the manga... This shouldn't spoil much, so everyone can just take a look. Do you know what you're looking at?

Well you got me curious anyways, so what were you going to mention?
