Negatus: Neat. I'll probably wait until the "crash to desktop" bug is fixed.

For some reason, I can't find the actual download link(s) for this mod.
It only affects the campaign, so you can at least try random map :)

Also I invite you to join eador.com forums, because I won't be that active on these forums.

it's inside the New Horizons release discussion thread in here http://eador.com/B2/viewforum.php?f=33

I'm glad I randomly decided to check this forum! Thanks for all the hard work! I mostly play random maps anyway. :)
Do not play this mod. It will suck your time away and nothing will get done in your personal life. This game is moving up my all time favorites list.

Jesus, what a comment XDDD

Btw I stopped playing games 7 month ago completely, :) Now I only translate, make sprites and live my life. Gaming indeed suck a lot of your time and strength. :)

Has the campaign mode bug been fixed yet? Just curious.
The one that sometimes crash/stops the next turn from loading correctly on shards. Sadly, no no it has not. However, it can be gotten around sometimes by either picking shards in different orders(Reloading your last Astral Save manually), or just redoing the shard over and trying to beat it fast. To my untrained eye, it seems to be some bug with either save function, or the enemy AI.
Okay, thanks. I'm going to wait until it's fixed to start a new campaign. No rush, though.
Indeed, finally had to uninstall it myself after six tries failed to get me past turn 35. Sadly that means I'm starting everything over, but happily, that means I'm starting everything over(Lost my first too games, so hoping to keep losses off my high score list this time)
Thanks mate... this is TOTALLY AWESOME. Makes a great game even greater... take my life eador....
There is a lot newer version of thi great mod already but according to author there is nobody who would translate it in english.
I am letting you know incase any of you speak russian and wants to help this great work to rest of us. ;-)
Hey,
I've been trying out this mod in the campaign. Excellent fun! Would love a new version :)
J
I got E:G today and have just started playing it (loving it too) so just a quick question about this mod. Is it a huge game changer or does it just expand and enhance the original game (like a patch)? In other words should I install it for my first play through? Thanks.

EDIT: If the consensus is yes, install it, do I just unpack it into the E:G drawer overwriting stuff or should I make an override folder or something?

This mod is similar to Heroes 3.5 WOG version.
It started as project for adding into original game Disciples-like unit upgrade mechanic and ended as somewhat Frankenshteiny addon with bits from different games.
Translated version is pretty outdated, new version do have better balance, and content is closer to spirit of original game.

I wouldn't recommend it for first playthrough - you need to learn basics of the mechanic first.
Use it when you would be able to tell outcome of battle from glance.

Thanks, I'll hold off until I've played through the game a bit more.
Yeah don't use it right away. It changes alot and is not just a patch. Try it only after you are tired of Genesis.
