JadonP: Yeah, I tried that but I can still only get it to run if I manually launch the default GOG game program, the launcher causes it to crash before fully loading the game, unless I run the Zdoom app.

I'm pretty sure the problem is when you copied the GOG Blood install into the launcher's \Games folder, you added the folder rather than the files. What you should do is copy all the files inside the GOG install's folder and paste them into \Games\Blood (which is already made.) Do not overwrite any files.
Nope, I did exactly that, I opened the gog install's folder, manually copied each file en-masse into the specified folders in the readme, and didn't allow any of the .CFGs to overwrite the already present ones.

Did you copy the .inst and .gog files to \CDMount? If it's not that, then I'm unsure what's causing the issue.

Ayep, Both files are in there; it opens the launcher and when I click to launch it shows the Dosbox window, but then just vanishes after a few seconds. No dice.

I have a feeling it's either missing a file or your config file is messed up. I've had issues of DOSBox opening/closing before and it's usually one of those two.

Is it possible to change the difficulty that the blood launcher launches maps and mods with?

I downloaded the linked patches for Bloody Pulp Fiction and put them in the Lines folder. Nothing has changed. Any idea what's wrong?

Any idea why I'm getting "Can't find \AppData\Local\Temp\MMBPlayer\" everywhere on the launcher GUI?

- On the home screen it appears 4 times on the bloody hand print.
- In Config & Maps it replaces the options in 'Renderer' and 'Fullscreen' and twice over the map description.

The worrying thing is my virus checker thinks that your program has a trojan virus, and MMBPlayer is reported as a virus in a Google search :/

Looks like it was just my virus checker being careful. I told it to ignore those errors about the g_combobox.dll and it all works now. Thanks for this, it makes playing Blood and user levels much easier!

Can you do a very detailed youtube walk through on installing the Blood launcher McTecman?

Update: Make that two installation walkthroughs: one for the GOG version, the other non-GOG version.

I just want to say that this is the most awesome mod/ update for an old game I've ever encountered...this makes a barely playable old game so much easier to configure and play...

Vagabond: That's a pretty common DOSBox problem. Try running the game first before doing any configuration.

Drelmanes: Okay, reinstalled everything, and now it's working. I did some silly mistakes before. But now I have a small problem, a thing that didn't happened before installing the launcher. When I change the resolution to 320x200, now the screen goes to the left superior side of the monitor. It's easier to understand if you see the image below. There's any way to fix this?
SAME problem here =/
My computer only runs blood ok in this resolution, and works fine on fullscreen, but with the Launcher this is happening

Oh wow, sorry for not checking here in a while!

The resolution problem could stem from the resolution being defined twice (well, more than twice, really): Once in the DOSBox configuration file (\Games\dosboxBlood.conf) and another time in every copy of Blood.cfg in the subfolder in \Games\, an example would be \Games\Blood\blood.cfg.

In dosboxBlood.conf:
fullresolution=800x600

In all the copies of Blood.cfg:
ScreenWidth = 800
ScreenHeight = 600

I'm actually thinking of rewriting the damn thing so it's not so bloated and not such a pain in the ... to update, make it modular & allow you to change a lot more from within the Launcher, like set some Setup options for all subfolders at once.

I can't seem to get any of the normal intro and outro movies to play for blood, any mods with cut scenes are fine but it refuses to play any of the opening or closing cut scenes for the standard game

Sorry to say it has virus and won't let me run this program ! First time today.

I suggest you clean up as whole update with new support Death Wish
