Gallopp gallopp mmmm look at them gallopping these humans are real men not like you frozen troglosmurphs!!

{cavalry OP? Once there's plenty of troops around the healing houses are less important and the map seems to even out, getting two stacks hasted made quite a difference in the last 2 turns. Still, had you kept your troops together I'd never have gotten to this point even with the lucky 3 syrons quest reward.}

Bookwyrm627: You can effectively save by exiting mid-turn, assuming you are using the wrapper. Boats are have enough issues to make it worth doing before attempting to unload a boat.
Good idea although I don't think that saves you from having a restart notification. In this case I didn't even try to unload it, it was just to move it.

Elves, Day 20

We die one stack at a time. Never taking out more than a single enemy troop. That's not a recipe for success. :)

TS
Goblins, Day 21

The humans, happy with me for a turn, are back to being mad now that the goblins once again outnumber them in my empire.

A goblin city backed by an Expander wizard and a Shrine of Nature makes a prettty impressive number of new citizens per turn. Shame I don't have the income to sacrifice their lives as fast as they show up. Halflings are probably the only race that can match them in reproduction.

TS
Finally some frozen brain that proves himself useful! Why can't you all be like that? What do you mean because your legs are too useless and short?!??!

... Actually yes, that sounds about right.
I got a turn, but it was password protected.

Edit: I tried forwarding it to Mimo. I think it still has the attachment, but Gmail isn't an intuitive interface for me.

Elves, Day 21

Lived to drink legally, doesn't look like I make it another day though...

TS
Goblins, Day 22

All this production I don't have has caused gold to build up in my coffers again. A hero came by to join me! A HUMAN hero, naturally.

I considered breaking the alliance this turn, but I wanted to watch Mimo die. :D

Normally I have a plan B and a plan C, but I rushed fool hardily into the meat grinder on this one...

As bad a mistake as my over-reliance on heroes for scouting in our 1v1 map and paid the cost quickly.

I think "Survivalist" was the winning attribute for this map. I finally researched it a couple of turns ago, but it was too late. That and hordes of cavalry. I used to have one of those. Till it got out horded. :)
The human cavalry gallops all over the elves homelands, destroying their carefully cultivated gardens, then installs industries and the internet and starts digging oil wells to stop the sun from shining. That will show them.

{Survivalist?! Complete waste. The only skill that I consider worth investing in is more casting. Maaaaaybe explorer...}
{Forgot to drop the alliance}
Elves, Day 22

We be gone... No backup Tower on this world for me to rise Phoenix like. TS

I know the game isn't technically over, but it is for all intents and purposes. Sorry Book! Way to go Arnuz!! Well done.

The killing off of Serena and her 10 troops in our first battle followed by your careful elimination of any amassing of Elven troops by Genghis Khan's horde was very, very effective. Attached are the game charts.

Btw, don't poo-poo Survivalist. This was a map won or lost by the use of a gazilliion low level troops. That extra 2 gold per unit upkeep on a Cavalry unit adds up fast!

*shrug* Oh well. Losing your army early when technophobe already has you playing catch up is not a winning combination.

I don't think I did anything in our alliance except cut off Mimo's access to home and offer advice to Arnuz.

I'm fine just surrendering, or I can wait for Arnuz to spend half a dozen turns getting over here to end me. Whatever you want to do, Arnuz.

Your call, GG anyhow. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made it without that teleporter razing, that made a lot of difference!

I'll resign on my next turn then. I'll grant you the pleasure of finishing me off if you like, but if you don't care I'm not going to spend the time.
Thanks guys!

Looking at the charts... Look at that drop in trips number at the time of our battle. Serena was still enjoying dominance when taken globally. Dividing forces is high reward but also high risk!

I honestly thought the mid-game 1.5 stacks of units I had were strong enough to be safe. Didn't even occur to me that you'd have the income to support a force large enough to wipe them out. And then I brain-farted in letting you eliminate the next 1.5 stack pile of troops I had, though I was surprised at how easily they died.

The Nymphs in the final battle never even attempted to seduce anyone. They let you beat down the gates and then just died at the end of a ten foot pole.
