Warlords Battlecry 3

This is one of my favorite childhood games; it brings back good memories. First of all, I love the combination of RPG/RTS genres, as it makes this game unique. Also the variety of races and classes is nice, and adds replayability value. The graphics are 2D, but very beautiful. Combined with Jake's unofficial widescreen patch, it's absolutely fantastic on a Full HD monitor. The soundtrack is also very pleasing. There is only one downside: The campaign is somewhat short. But there are some custom campaigns available on modding sites.

Imagine a Diablo II hero starring a RTS game. This is Warlords Battlecry. I'm a fan of the series, and game by game, Infinite improved AI and Units, giving this game a huge variety of gameplay styles. Thumbs up.

I am a general fan of RTS games, but the persistent heroes and the many choices for race/class make this game one of the most replay-able games I have. I have played this game for years and I always come back because of the variety and new choices. (Still have not won with an Ice Mage, for example) I highly recommend this game to any RTS lover.

This game is a must have for any RTS or even RPG fan. I've played all the "major" titles like Warcraft 3, Age of Empires 2/3, etc, and this lesser known title blows them away. If you like fantasy this game is the top of the genre. A seriously underrated game. More races, more spells, more items, open ended campaigns that let you steer, and level up. Beautiful 2D graphics and detailed RPG-like animations, awesome soundtrack. Do yourself a favor, stop reading this review and buy this game!

A game in which you select a race and class and set out into an RTS Fantasy World, there are many races that you can play as and many different heroes and classes you can level up which can change up the game greatly. It's highly addictive.
