Warlords Battlecry 3

It's pretty much like Warcraft. Simple economy, building tiers, same unit classes, heroes. However, graphics are really ugly and it takes some time to recognize units of an army. So why buy it? Campaign system looks promising. And lots of races, if you like it.

Installed correct way, game has HUGE lags spikes. Cannot even click. Cannot play. Such a pity, waste of money.

This is one of the must have classics, a truly superb game. There is however one major gamebreaker for me; the voice for the Lich has been changed. I have no idea when/how or why this is, but the version I played all those years ago had an awesome voice for the Lich. Now it's like James Earl Jones had been replaced with justin bieber for Darth Vader. Seriously it's that bad. Legendary comments like "Time for the harvest is at hand" has been completely removed and replaced with some goodietooshoo nonsense... Game-killer. 1 star Other than that, the awesomeness of this game has no equal. (any tips on how to get the old voice back?)

The game is uselessly complicated and much less fun than the good old Wardlords were. Worse, it was incredibly bugged on release and no amount of patching seems to have helped. I was really determined to give it a go – twice, last one being some 2 years ago. It feels fun at the start, but soon gets dreary, especially with all the crashes and reloading involved. Avoid if you can. This game might be old, but has never been good.
