Project Warlock

Tough one. With an open mind I found the style to be quite charming after a while, and I was looking forward to toying with the progression system. But I just cannot play this game without getting constantly annoyed. Just a few fixed resolutions topping out at full-hd, mouse sensitivity is a joke, and then there's the performance... I could live with the occasional stutter, but it's so bad that it constantly screws up the inputs. It constantly feels off and reproducably gets overwhelmed by the rapid progession of run-towards-enemy, attack-enemy, run-away. How am I supposed to play a shooter that loses the mouse click events?! DO NOT BUY unless patched significantly.

As a Brutal Doom fanatic this game is so up my alley that it has it's own back alleys. Absolutely fantastic. The graphics, the animations, the weapons, the greasy fast lighting speed of gameplay! Yes, yes, and more yes! Game of the year for me. Big thanks to whoever made this game. I love it.

Play through first few levels. Have a challanging, but great time. Run into armored enemies, die horribly. Slam my face into enemies repeatedly in an attempt to kill them Give up after a bit and goto bed. Come back today for more punishment. I definitely recommend this game, worth the money. The soundtrack works great with the gameplay.
