Project Warlock

Great FPS in the vein of the classics. Solid amount of content, solid weapons with good feedback, and just the appropriate amount of carnage. The gameplay is fast paced enough so that it does not get stale, and keeps the focus entirely on gameplay rather than unskippable cutscenes. Too bad there's no multiplayer.

I really do not write a lot of reviews but I have to for this game. It's pretty damn good. Before playing I was worried about the graphics due to me becoming dizzy. But not at all. I played for hours and did not get dizzy or a headache. The gameplay itself first reminded me of that abomination of a game called Strafe. But PW is way more polished and fun. It can be hard at times but its one of those games where you learn from your mistakes. The guns are cool and the shotgun/double barrel is very satisfying to kill enemies with. Keep in mind ammo isnt everwhere though. Thankfully the melee weapons are also fun to use. I did not find myself getting bored with them. Music is awesome and probablty one of the best soundtracks Ive heard in awhile. I would easily spend $25-$35 for this game. Its worth it.

This is best gamr for last 10 years. It as Doom and Diablo have a child.

The gameplay itself is tight, meaty and all around addictive (in a good way). This game also has tons of content for the price. There are around 5 episodes, tons of weapons, upgrades, perks, 3 difficulties, secrets and you get the entire OST for the game which totals around 100+ tracks (I personally love the OST for this game). Best $12 I have spent in a long time and I can see myself going back to this game over and over again to try out different character builds. If your an old school FPS verteran (or new player) and loved games like DOOM 1&2, Heritic, and Hexen then this game was made for you.
