IT IS ALL ABOUT MAKING THINGS EXPLODE WITH GOOD AUDIO SUPPORT, LEVEL DESIGN, MUSIC, AND WEAPONS. IT IS FUN. GOSH I LOVE SETTING THINGS ON FIRE. ONLY THINGS I HAVE FOUND WRONG: NEEDS BETTER MAP, OPTION TO NOT LEAVE A STAGE, AND WEAPON UPGRADE TESTING. ALSO THERE IS A WEIRD PAUSE IN MELEE ATTACKS SOMETIMES. NOT SURE BUT IT VANISHES AFTER SMASHING A DUDE IN THE FACE SO IT MIGHT BE A MECHANIC. MELEE IS STILL REALLY GOOD. MORE GIBLETS THAN THANKSGIVING. EVERYTHING ELSE IS AMAZING. I LOVE SHOOTING THINGS IN THE FAAACCCEEEEEE! I DIDN"T MENTION EXPLOSIONS. THOSE ARE GOOD TO.

The game feels amazing and so much fun for first 2 hrs, then it switches to insanely repetitive actions - every level feels the same, you always only look for differently colored keys to unlock the door to look for more keys. Basically it becomes unplayably dull and feels as if the levels were just randomly generated with the same parameters. On Medium difficulty it's too easy with too much ammo literally everywhere. I felt the hype but after 3 hrs I'm extremely disappointed and only looking forward for Ion Maiden to be finished. Project warlock is not worth even the low the price.

Sorry but most of these reviewers that gave this a bad score, probably don't have a lot of experience with old school FPS shooters. I'm both a Doom 1 & 2 veteran, as well as the excellent Marathon series that came out on Powermac computers, as well as Heretic, Hexen.... I've been playing and loving all kinds of FPS titles on forwards since then. First off, yes, this has modern, mouse and keyboard "Free look" controls. I know that's important to a lot of us FPS fans. Secondly, the sprite animations, and the weapon sounds, as well as the soundtrack kicks serious butt. Thirdly, the weapons are awesome! There's also an RPG element to it, that not only will transform your weapons into completely new, incredibly badass weapons of death, but you'll also be able to upgrade youself, and even your spells, if you go the magic route. This customization allows for some killer replayability. Do you want to be a badass tank character, go ahead... Do you want to specialize in both magic and weapons, go ahead... Do you want to mostly play as an all out magic user, go ahead!! Also everything in between is also available. This game is loads of fun, and you're doing a serious disfavor to yourself if you're an FPS fan, and don't give it a go, especially at such a low price.

For a mere 12 dollars I was not let down at all.
