Project Warlock

I LOVE this game, it has so much content and while most people say the story in an FPS is just extra fluff, the story and atmosphere tied to it in it's design give it SOUL. I love it! The difference in atmosphere between this and the sequal is so jarring, I had a knee jerk reaction, and I apologize for leaving an upset comment there. I could not delete my comment, so I tried to refund the game to get rid of it, because it didn't deserve the treatemnt I gave it. Just because I don't like a game, doesn't mean it's bad, again, I am very sorry for that. I hope the sequal does well, because it's your product, and the fans don't have a right to interfere in your production. Back seat game development is a cancer, and I am deeply ashamed to have partaken in it out of knee jerk anger. Good luck, and don't stop doing your best man; The Industry Needs You !!!!

I found the game to be a great throwback to some of the best fps from my childhood. I loved the graphics and gunplay. The pacing was a bit up and down, with it starting real strong, dragging out in the middle, then picking back up near the end. I love the addition of the endless mode and I believe that I will come back and play some more later! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Aside from the nailgun that hurts you when you use it, that gun is completely useless, this game is a great time! I liek the lives system and lack of quick saves, in these shorter levels it never gets annoying but does a good job at building tension. The choices in spells and how to upgrade your gun are great and would probably give this game a lot of replayability. There's a good enemy variety. Bosses are easy and simple but still fun. I would recommend this game over project warlock 2 if you only have the money for one.

The game is really fun. Brings back nostalgia for older games like Doom I/II or Wolfenstein 3D. Decent selection of guns and the addition of spells is a cool idea, along with the hub area. The levels are fun to go through and relatively quick, but with lots of secrets if you want to play it slower. Controller support is pretty good, never had an issue using it once you get used to the controls. Overall I recommend it. And it's often on sale now which is a plus

I gave up years ago because the lame weapons on the first level, then one day I got the NSW version and brute force my way to the next, more fun levels. I tried the game again, because keyboard controllers, and they reworked a lot, now is actually playable and fun all the way. I recomend it since this combines every old fps trope (besides historic wars, wich I don't really care) with cool updates for the weapons and spells, it's cool to try another run with different build.
