Magic Carpet Plus™

Fist thing is that i have oryginal premiere version. It was awesome. And You just cant kill awesome game so this one is not an exception. The only one of a kind, bullfroggy styled it's so fast and intense with those '360 degrees' maps and a bit of tactics. The only BAD thing is that ist lagging when using 3-D glasses mode, dunno why but really want it to work. There is nothing better than jump into late 80's with those red-blue paper glasses on nosa haha!

About once every 5 years, i need to go back and play this game. I played it when it was releassed in the 90's. I love the sense of freedom the game gives and the back and bombarding other other sorcerers castles to get their mana at the higher levels is gaming heavan. It is my all time favorite, and I have been gaming since pong. Thanks to GOG, setup is easy and it runs great.

My only complaints are the draw distance and the flight controls. Yes yes it's an old game but in my head you could see much further then the fog allows. Niggling complaint on the controls you can't hover up or down. To change altitude you have to be moving. Those out of the way the game is good fun, fighting to control mana and build up your castle. It can be touch later on to take on the mages, not because they are dangerous to you just that they are really hard to kill and annoying when trying to claim your mana.

Not so glad to find this game here, because it cost me a lot of time. I used to play it 25 years ago on my first pc. It's still great an highly addictive!
