Magic Carpet Plus™

This game can be presented as deathmatch between mages in order to gather all the mana present in the land. You build a castle to prevent you opponent to steal your mana. They can destroy your castle and you can destroy theirs not counting that creatures can do too. Having to decide when it's time to leave your castle to attack your opponents, find more mana or defend your balloons or defend your castle from loosing its mana is the most enjoyable aspect of this game. The game aged a little, but doesn't feel has been. Once you understood the concept of the game it starts to become realy fun and exciting. I've never played it on LAN, but, I'm pretty sure it's fun. The graphics for its time were fabulous, it ran smootly on a Pentium 90mhz! If you haven't played that game and you don't fear oldschool graphics, get it now, it's still perfectly playable.

I mastered the unusal controls a while ago and its fun to exploit the bugs if possible. If its only a minor spell interuption 1 in 10 clicks it makes it a fun challenege if it doesnt turn to a crash. i already beat this countless times and its worth 6 dollars if your willing to get used to the controls and possible crashes.

I got this game with my first computer. It came with it, so it had no instructions, just a disc. No sort of explanation of what the point of the game was. So i just flew around beating levels not sure of what the hell i was supposed to be doing or why. But now finally understand. Downloading now...

At first I looked at this game and said to my friend jokingly WOW that game looks AMMMMMAZING, and he was like yuuuup. But then I looked at some of the reviews read up on it, watched some gameplay videos. Then got the second one , I was amazed to find that this game was doing things that were unheard of at the time terrain deformation, real time water reflections and regenerating health : D I love it, it is the best of old school games and it was surely a stepping stone for the giants of today.

Man, this brought back some memories seeing this game on here! I used to love this game when I was younger. Definitely going to have to pick this one up.
