The game is running 60 fps for me without any problems.
It's a great game with many quests to do,u can really sink hundreds of hours in this game.
It's sort of a mix between oblivion and Fable 3
A huge, really pretty game world, equipment, lots of stuff to find..crafting and so forth.
This is a game that holds your hand, with map markers and a log book, keeping track of everything and telling you just where to go and what to do.
I guess you don't have to use all these "hand holding" features, but when you look at the map, your destination and target are marked... none the less.
Also, when you reach level 40... leveling stops and for me, that takes away a lot of the fun.
After the cap is reached, it's not much more than a, go here, kill that.. bring something back... Go back, kill/steal, this or that.. return.
Even with the huge game world, factions and so forth, there's no deep plot or story line to sink your teeth into. And, even with the DLC .. leveling stops. Dev's should have added leveling to go with the DLC's. They didn't.
For me, when you reach the level cap.. it's pretty much over. When looking forward to the "reward" of leveling up my character is gone, so is a lot of the fun.
If hand holding and level caps, don't bother you, you'll enjoy this. There's still stuff to do. And, crafting. You can use the Fate Weaver to completely change your style... but, you'll still stay the same level. And, even with the plus sides... my character stuck at the same level, is a deal breaker.
i have this game on steam, after playing for 20 hours or so the enemies start to disappear if you dont loot every item the enemies drop, something to do with limit of the loot bags? you fave to go back to the old areas to pick up the old loot , but even after that i kept getting the same bug after a while
apart from the bug i would rate this 3/5 , very entertaining and fluid combat, but the level of difficulty is VERY low, classes are pretty broken and somewhat boring to the end, and the crafting is crazy OP, lot of quests in the game which are pretty good and different , but again in the and start to feel like a drag because of useless rewards. if you have played this 8 years ago its pretty much the same game , so i wouldnt recommend this to those , hope there will be modding added , i see this having a lot of potential this way
Its a fyn game, i enjoyed every minute of it, it runs well on my old laptop too.
The only issue is that gold is not well balanced, you will have too much gold after 50% of the game.
The class system isn't something we haven't seen before, nevertheless, it does the job really well
Overall , i enjoyed, i might even download it again.
If an Action RPG and Character action game had a child it would be this game. The perfect blend with your traditional character builds and Combat with so much depth that you'll want to experiment with diferent builds and combos all the time.
However, there are some issues like enemy variety which is almost non-existent as you'll fight the same enemies hundreds of times over and over... Even bosses are no exception to this rule. Side quests also suffer from the aformentioned lack of variety. It's the same ol' fetch this, fetch that, kill this, kill that and with no interesting side-stories whatsoever. It's incredibly dull.
And speaking of dull, the world itself. While pretty looking, it's empty. Lifeless. You're just running around from point A to point B without anything interesting ever. The caverns and dungeons are shamelessly copy pasted from one another, and all of this leads to a world that's completely forgettable.
Story is servicable. It's expected from these kinds of games and that's fine. Combat is the highlight here and rest of the game holds it back severely. I just hope a sequel expands the combat while completely reworking the whole world, with interesting side-quests and places to explore and get lost in.
