Many of the reported issues appear to stem from missing one of the installation steps outlined below. While we work on improving the installation experience, please ensure you follow all the steps carefully.

Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

I know this is a 'Fallout mod', but come on. Immediate crashes without any warning or message after long load times kills any enthusiasm I might have had for this game. The beginning of the game is just slow, uninteresting, and boring. I would explore the mod more if it were not for the fact that walking around the map automatically crashes the game in a few places. I don't want to go to nexusmods to find a million mods for 'fixes', I don't have the time for that.
I was crashing as well and then I adjusted my FPS cap in my display settings. Fallout 4 had issues with high framerate so I figured that was the issue. I changed mine to 120 crashed one time and havent crashed a single time since.
Now that there are no crashes, this mod is amazing in everyway. The starting section reminds me alot of bioshock, the weapon animations are top notch and so far the missions are getting better and better
The difficulty balancing is nonexistent after completing some of the beginning quests. All of the enemies become bullet sponges while you're as weak as wet paper. I lowered it down to very easy and it doesn't change a thing. I like a challenge, but not when I have to use all of my very scarce and expensive resources to kill a couple mirelurks. Also, the economy is odd, you sell items for pennies while buying anything useful is over a 100 tickets. An example is Rad-away (the only thing you'll be buying due to extreme rads being everywhere) is over 200 tickets. I do not recommend this mod until they address these issues.
Completely broken for me, at least for now.
Infinite loading screen after character creation.
What utters me the most, is the contrary info from the official sites and the downgrader nexus page.
The downgrader alone is broken as hell. There is newer, updated version on github (you have to read about this in the comment section from a random user), which works with a few workarounds, but still not that great. Then the creators recommend some mods, which either break the game or are not compatibile with the game version they're running on.
Very sad to see such a messy release after such a long time.
Hoping to reviewing this after a few patches and a streamlined, coherent, official(!) install guide.
