Cyberpunk 2077

After many patches the game has improved greatly and is worth a buy at current deal price. But mind you this game doesn't feel finished yet. There are many bugs and issues with it that have been ignored over and over again, which makes sense given that this game was a sh*tshow on release but I still hope this other issues that indeed affect gameplay are resolved. Some of these issues include: -> Radio stops working just because -> Mission markers working incorrectly causing you to go in circles or having to exit a building to reset it. -> Minimap path marker acting weird. (This one is really minor but can get you easily confused due to the games verticality). -> AI Issues with the enemies -> The police is still not fixed, better spawning but still it doesn't work right. -> There are main missions that get easily bugged. In one of the last missions with the japanese guy (to avoid spoilers) the enemies suddenly went full murder machine but the mission still interpreted as if I was sneaking and had to complete the mission like that while I was getting shot from every direction. -> There are the usual bugs here and there in the open world, characters T-posing, citizens acting weird, cars suddenly jumping and crashing, and that sort of stuff. It can be ignored most of the cases tho. Overall, I commend CD Project Red's effort to fix the game but there is still a lot of work to do to make this game truly enjoyable. Sadly, the huge amount of features they removed are never comming back, just like my trust in them.

Played this thru Stadia initially, really loved the story, the world and the whole experience. Can't wait to dive into the DLC.

I absolutely love Night City. The atmosphere, the characters, the music -- it's preem stuff. Some of the side quests have some really great storylines (a few really unnerved me to the point of needing to walk away for a minute to reflect) mixed in with gigs (quick action mini quests) and NCPD alerts. The main story is, for me anyway, memorable and emotional. I wasn't spoiled by the trailers, so I went in pretty blind and I'm grateful for it. Music and sound design is great. Some of those tracks really slap! Gameplay is cool because it's so different. You can sit outside a mission area in stealth and use quick-hacks to (eventually, once you get some great ones and level it all up a bit) clear a whole city block. Make a bad guy shoot himself in the head. Make a bad guy shoot is bad friend. Make a bad guy's brain boil. Fun for the whole family! Or, if hacking and sitting around to murder everything isn't your style, go in guns blazing and enjoy a decent action FPS. Or mix it up and do a little of both. For extra crazy, use a Sandevistan to slow time (speed yourself up, actually, but it's like bullet time) and behead a whole room full of gangsters before they can even clear leather with your katana. I loved the implant system, too. Bullet resistant skin, super immune system, double-jump ankle implants ... lots of fun and rewarding to earn. If you like cyberpunk settings, you'll have a good time, I think. I personally didn't experience any noticeable bugs or quest issues, but I've seen others have reported problems. I know early launch console systems especially had some big issues. A mid-range i5 with a 580 RX let me have 60 FPS with medium/high settings using FSR for most of the game (SSD a must to avoid hitching though). Thanks for reading my little novel.

Let's be honest. 2.0 is a Downgrade, and a severe one at that. Inventory mangment has been basically removed, as if it was supposed to be a phone game. In RPGs the player is supposed to loot and sell. So, when I loot something, then I want to see it in my Inventory and being able to managed it as I please regardless of level. I don't want my loot to be automatically dismantled into something without value just becasue I already have it or because my level is not high enough! Perqs are now a complete mess. It feels like the game has been systematically broken at it's core, even dumbed down turning the challenge into a chore. Because of this core changes, the game completely lost difficulty. Where is the danger? Where is the thrill of challanging something of a way higher level? Or rahter, where in the fuck is the challange in this game? It has been removed. I hope CDPR is going to rollback to what this game used to be. 1.6x made this game to shine bright, but this, ... 2.0 poured shit on it, turning in it something less than avarage. Everyone was afraid the game would die out after release. Following this path will certaily lead to that end...
