Issues hide a quality game
The dialog and narrative so far is really intriguing. Presentation of scenes is immersive and similar in effectiveness to the Witcher 3. Unfortunately I can hardly run the game at a playable, non nausea inducing framerate. Serious performance and optimization issues accross the board. Additionally combat feels clunky even without performance concerns. This is massively dissapointing when compared to the performance of many of the other AAA games that have come out this year. I hope patches and updates improve the experience as currently, I have no reason to play this game in its current state.

Amazing Graphics, lacking story
First off, there is no doubt the CDPR put in a ton of time bringing about the idealization of Night City. There isn't a game yet with the amount of minute details they put into the city. It is gorgeous and in many ways felt like a real city. Sadly this is where the amazement ends. The story so far is not up to par with the Witcher 3, not even close. The voice actors did a great job with their parts, but unfortunately good acting can't make up for a rather bland writing. There is barely any connection with the main characters and to be honest many are generic and passable at best. I can understand why they felt the need to make the game First Person, but that hasn't produced the intended effect of intimate connection with the main character. Part of the charm with the Witcher 3 was seeing Geralt's reactions and emotions. Here, you see none of that. No Third Person cutscenes, just simple dialogue options as the game railroads your way through the story. I never felt like any of decisions have affected much of the storyline. The 3 life paths all end up in the same place. You'll gain a few extra dialogue options based on your chosen life path, but it all winds up the same. There have been bugs, none game breaking on my end and updating my video drivers took care of many of the graphical glitches. My attitude towards the bugs is to "just go along with it as glitches in the world, it is Cyberpunk after all!" But seriously, the experience will be much better once they fix the bugs a few months from now and get some things fleshed out. The crafting system looks interesting but so far hasn't been necessary given that you'll just wind up finding better items along the way as the loot system is more action rpg like rather than a straight commitment to a single weapon / armor. Overall I am enjoying it and should be on every players must play list. It's a good, not great, but good start to a new IP for CDPR. Just don't expect it to be the masterpiece compared to the Witcher 3.

Not that interesting at the moment
Well, for now it doesn't get me into it at all. I'll wait until it gets polished.

Bugs and performance is just the tip of
The iceberg that sunk this ship. Man, I've had 3 hard crashes in the same 10 minute fight sequence in which I can't save. I'm just about done and wanting a refund. I know I'm not alone in this but honestly I wouldn't be looking for a refund if it were just bugs. The world feels less interactive and reactive as GTA Vice City, which is a terrible shame. The RPG mechanics are also a let down, feeling very inconiquential, after 4 hours I can't really do anything different than had I not spent a single talent/skill point. The characters and writing are solid so far, and the set peices are neat and the world building seems solid enough. But the game connecting just isn't blowing me away, the gunplay is mostly fun but spongy enmies are really not fun to fight and overall I've just become bored.
