Cyberpunk 2077

The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is empty. Four cookie-cutter missions comprise all the non-main quests: kill someone, save something, steal something, or plant something. It never matters who, what, or why beyond the incessant texts you have to scroll through. The main story was just a string of tropes, connected by the best that the video game voice acting world can provide, which is to say it was terrible. If this were a live-action movie, it would panned universally. And that's to say nothing of the technical problems that make it impossible to play the game without glitches and bugs. There's nothing here, really. It's nice and flashy, but once you move past that, it's hollow. It has no real message, nothing important to say, and no sense of purpose. The board game involved questions of humanity, life and death, mortality, exploitation, etc.; the video game makes passing mention to these in cutscenes and then you play shoot-em-up combo-time FPS game. I feel like I wasted a lot of time.

Crashes more frequently than a drunk congressman. Glitches, screen tearing and the patches are making this game more unstable. Stay away at all costs.

The game can be enjoyable if you don't encounter to many bugs. There are many other problems that are much harder to fix than bugs ( Right now about 30 persk just don't work, so creating build is pointless). This problems consist of empty city, lack of AI, lack of Police system and what is the most glaring issue lack of choices that affect you as a player or world around you. There is no branching storyline, your actions have no meaning. In the end the only choice that matters is if you do quest or do not. Nothing else. Life paths are only prologue for about 10-15 minutes max and beside some additional dialogue option here and there, they change nothing. There are many lackings in terms of interactivity with the world. Want to eat in pub? No animation for this, you got only menu to buy things. Want to sit down on chair? Only in storyline cutscenes, Crafting is really tedious, you can only craft one item at time and is really unbalanced (in a wrong way, cost for some things is astronomical) and maaany more. What is important as well if you are not familiar with cyberpunk genre that this game lacks tags as Noir,Nihilism and GrimDark, towards MC at least. I warned you! If you like it good for you. Pros? Great soundtrack Stunning City Photo Mode First person gives a lot of immersion Story line very short but has a lot of likeable characters but some things I didn't like see warning that i Wrote.

The dissapointment of this and last century for me. In the 90's I played the pen & paper RPG Cyberpunk 2020. My friends and I were fans of the genre and of Mike Pondsmith and his work. Back in the day I already fantasized about a open world game based on this world and it's lore. In the mean time I became a fan of CDPR and the The Witcher games. Especially The Witcher 3 ofcourse. So naturally when CDPR announced that they would do Cyberpunk 2077 I was really looking forward to it. And they would hype this all up with promises of what this game would offer for 8 years. I never pre-order a game. Ever. But I had trust in this. So I pre-ordered it... And now I got a refund. Apart from all the game breaking bugs the game itself offered almost nothing that was promised. Even the 3 "lifepath story lines" were not there. Just the start of the game is different. I wonder what Mike Pondsmith is doing and thinking since this fiasco happened. His beloved brainchild franchise has been murdered by CDPR. I would want to see an honest interview with Mike about this. And by the way. I don't think Keanu Reeves would like this as well. Normally I'm a forgiving guy. But CDPR let me down so incredibly hard that I'm not even going to buy their next game. Whatever that will be. I'm not even going to download this game again when it will be for free next year. I lost all trust. On a positive side note. The whole getting a refund situation went smooth. Contact with support was fast and within a couple of days I had my money back. That has to mentioned I think.

Never in my life have I seen a game that doesnt deliver on any of the promises made by the creators while also being riddled with game breaking issues... when and if cdpr fixes the game ill improve its rating but at this time the game is worth no more than 15 dollars max.
