I am totally satisfyed with Cuberpunk 2077!!! Wonderful graphics, extraordinary and breathtaking storyline, lots of interesting sidequests, charachters, game mechanics! 60 hours of pleasure for me.
Nevermind the critics, mates, buy and play! The only "bad" of Cyberpunk 2077 is that you probably need a better PC to get a better experience. Ok, future is here. ;)
Pros
> Engaging main story
> Emotional investment in main characters
Cons
> 5 hour talking and walking with basic intro to mechnaics, gunplay, stealth, cyberdecks
> Broken to shit, am 50 hours in and now stuck in a call with Wikako and cant actually play the game
>Not optimised at all I have the recommended specs and at medium to low i get 30 to 45 fps
> Life path means nothing apart from unique start a couple throwaway unique npcs
> Kinda pointless crafting system since you can upgrade weapons and find and recieve better ones going through the story and sidequests
> Driving is rather boring and basic kinda like gta i get it buts is so generic
Gave it 5 stars because, in my opinion, it's closer to 5 than 4. But if it were out of 10 I'd put it at 8.9. I have been lucky to not have any game crashes or bad bugs. And I love the story! Unfortunately, my luck probably has more to do with my high-end rig than the game code according to most posts and comments I've read. Can't wait for the story DLC's and the free ones!
What can no longer be fixed
1) There is no time to drive around the city and complete side quests. Someone is constantly waiting for you. My Takemura lived in a diner for a week while I cleared the half of the map from quests.
2) The camera in some cars is located so that the road is not visible. I want to fully immerse myself in the game, but I have to drive a car from the 3rd person.
3) All motorcycles are driven the same. The same pathetic.
4) Difficulty levels "high" and "highest" turn enemies into "bullet pads". As a result, the best difficulty level is "medium".
Maybe just bugs
1) I have lost all "named" items from the cache. Royce's Pistol, Nightfall, Bonus T-Shirts and Jacket and katana. I wanted to upgrade all this, but the game said: "You don't need them!"
2) Messages that come to the phone are constantly changing order.
Of course, there are good sides, then what I am pleased and amazed
1) The game looks nice. Not the technical part, but the visual one.
2) Music is also great. When you drive a car with a first-person view, listening to your favorite radio, you get a storm of emotions.
3) Working out characters and dialogues. I can believe in the reality of the characters and their problems. I can understand them. That's cool.
I deleted the game and all saves after I lost all "named" gear. And I am silent about the bugs that can be seen on youtube.
For me is CP77 game of the year for many reason:
- Looks good, sounds good = Night city design is stunning, great sountrack in overall and in car radios too, awesome character designs, really nice looking cars (i wish i could own Quadra Type-66 Avenger/Javelin/Turbo cars :D)
- Great story and even more awesome characters and their stories. I have really enjoyed all main side story lines.
- Lot of lore to read and discover
- Deus Ex like design = you can do missions in stealth, or you can go guns blazing. Most missions there is several paths, how to reach destination.
- Mass effect story/quest design = what i mean? As in Mass Effect, if you do only main story, then yes, main story has around 20h before you reach point of no return. Joke is that, you are supposed to also do main side story lines, which alters finale choices and consequences. Simple thing many haters obviously didnt realize.
- Many easter eggs, even few in czech translation (greetings to Jolanda :D)
- Enjoyable gunplay
- And many more
And yes, there is few things that i didnt like that much, as for example need to set my language every start of game, several cars were really uncontrollable during driving, accessing inventory requires additonal click, and few other things. But most of them were only minor annoyance as i have been enjoying main aspects of game - stories, gigs, etc.
All that hate on broken physics, plain world, short story, and many more are just "haters gonna hate". I am not saying game isnt broken on old gen consoles, there it must really be painful to play, but on PC is everything in acceptable borders and i really do not care about water not splashing after granate explosion, trashbags random explosions, or that i cannot flat tire by shotting them. Really? Thats really so important in game?
Also replayability is total nonse when dozens of games are released every year and i barely have time to play fraction of them :)
Skip haters, be embraced by Night City and enjoy the game :)
