People act like elites who never played

Im being honest. i played this game on cracked version because im from a third world country and could not afford the game. People are such elite that they act like they have never played fallout new vegas, skyrim, gta 5 at their buggiest times and two of these games are still buggy as hell. Ungrateful people are why most companies are giving up releasing many games like they used to. No one critised skyrim for its buggy behaviors and the game was a legendary for us (for me too). But why are you acting so two faced? why does skyrim get over 90+ in metacritic and not cyberpunk? I wish the game developers best. I hope i can afford to get this game some time in the future. I only have one sentence to tell '' do not care the playerbase and keep on fixing the game because their opinions are not worth anymore ''. Peace!

Good game just not as good as advertised

Cyberpunk 2077 is a good game that's worth playing, however it is not the game we waited so many years for. The detailed and pretty-looking city is a backdrop to the linear scripted stories which, granted, aren't so bad on their own. The stories can be very dark and realistic, which makes the lighter-hearted stories all the more fun. Because the story is willing to “go all the way” the stakes feel much higher and it keeps you on your toes. Unfortunately, interesting stories and pretty graphics are the only highlight as there isn’t much to say about the gameplay. Originally advertised as an immersive open-world RPG; the game lacks significant interaction with the environment, lacks any reason to explore the open world, and even lacks some very basic RPG elements. It's immensely disappointing, but things are not all doom-and-gloom as some of the memes on social media have depicted it. I got the game on day one and it was very much playable and enjoyable on PC. Patches and updates are sure to improve things as time goes on. It’s worth getting to experience the story, I just wish there was more interaction with the world and better gameplay mechanics here.

Light, shadow and unused potential

Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot going for it: - A beautiful, masterly-crafted open-world with TON of details, lore and stories - A story that captivates you until the very end - Side missions that vary in tonality - some are even better than the main mission - Well written characters you'll end up actually care for - Many possibilites to build your own character - gameplay wise - The sound-design -score, soundtrack and enviromental- is just flawless. Period. The score varies from dark, gritty "Blade Runner"-esque tracks to beautiful ambient tracks. The soundtrack, written by various artists, contributes a lot to the world's diversity. I love it. - The gunplay feels a lot better than I expected. There are ton of interessting weapons that actually feel very good while shooting and every single one is so damn well animated But where there is light there is also shadow - and, as it turns out, Cyberpunk has alot of that aswell: - The open world just feels static. The world just doesn't react as oganically to the player as one would expect - Choices in the narrative are often just an illusion - The main character feels like a pre-defined character - by lacking dialog options that really differs from one-another - The crafting system is just useless. I stopped care for it in the middle of the game. Doesn't feel rewarding. - Much open-world activities that feel like busy-work. They are shadowing the fun side missions you can discover. - The loot system is annoying as hell. Every encounter will drop you a ton of new weapons - making it less rewarding finding a special weapon - Aswell as the outfit system. My character looked like a clown the entire game. - The driving varies from "ok" to really hacking bad. All of those systems feel unfinished. If they were actually thought through, you'd end up with a really good game. Combine those with the aspects the game already does well, you'd get one of the best ever made. There is so much potential but they cleary ran out of time.

An insane gameplay decision

Who the hell decides to not allowing the use of consumable during combat? I have never seen a game done this, I might be able to give this game a higher score if not for this dumb decision, but this just breaks the game for me, this game sucks.

Stunning game, but game mechanics..

Well we all know that, the game still needs lots of patch work, for good functioning and good gameplay. Not that kinda new. Game partly like really bad, because theyre often pointless in the end... Best example is making money and spending it: Most money you get from looting enemies weapons and selling those. Thought id play a mercenary, bit like in the Witcher. So why dont getting most money from contracts? Spending money: for what?! No buisness to build up, no home to build, no propertys to buy. At least you can buy a few cars, but you only need a few and the best isnt even that good, and weapons you take those you loot, you... Story is really cool, but a bit too short, cause you see that its been cutted, and there are lots of open questions - militec, one of the main compenies in the story, is a good example here. How is life normally like in night city? Well i got plenty of those. But dont worry, the plot itself says enough to get along with, so you can more or less all the characters. Graphics could get a bit sharper textures, but it is definitly on time and looks pretty ok. Im a real graphics enthusiast - and want to upgrade my rtx 3070 later with a 4080ti, when it comes out, because i want clear sharp 4k textures with a bit of raytraced lightening and up to 120 fps. Waited about 10 years that - think clear, sharp images shouldnt be a problem anymore. Hope it gets standard the next 3-4 years. So that in 6-10 years physics get boosted up along better raytracing, so more rays per pixel. So in your next Porject i want to see nothing else than 4k textures and a solid release ;) PS: For the Developers. Yes at the time, im still at the beginning of the game, but i already played it through on PS4 Pro.
