Excellent

Playing on 1.05 it took me 70 hours to find a gamebreaking bug; a sidequest refused to progress due to a missing talk-prompt. 58 hours to find my first crash. Everything else was fine, no hiccups beyond minor graphical ones, so I'd say for technical performance this plays great. As for gameplay it's a weird, funky, mix of Deus Ex and the newer Fallouts. You get a lot of tools and toys to work with, and there's always something new to discover around the corner. The acting performances are great, characters are well-rounded; there's a lot of detail and nuance to the world. Basically every side quest has a full backstory whether it be driving a man to a doctor because his cybernetic genitals are on the fritz, or saving some young men from the claws of a particularly disturbed paedophile. As for exactly that, narrative, I'd give a content warning that this game deals with some very mature themes. Not in the sense of superficial moral quandries about murder, but more how to emotionally cope with rape. It's not particularly in-depth but there is definitely a lot of stuff here that can be emotionally taxing to deal with, and some of it is part of the main questline. It certainly adds stakes to a lot of interactions when you know how bad things can get, but I'd not recommend this game to anyone but adults. It pulls no punches. But this often works to the game's favour, as a lot of plot twists whether they end in difficult choices or the death of a character demand the player's attention and serious consideration. Something as simple as tacit approval can mean a character is dead or changed several hours of gameplay later. There's a clear cohesive logic to the choices and consequences the player makes, but they are very rarely drawing attention to themselves. Something you thought didn't matter inevitably will. In the end this is a game that destroys my bed-times, and never stops being fun. my favourite game of the year. Inventory management is garbage though.

Great potential

Game is playable (PC 1.06) and main and stories are overall good. But there are a lots of parts of the game which require improvements - bugs, crafting, itemization in general, car physics, police system, dialog branches etc. Early game feels like 3/5 and later, more meaningful quests, remedy this game to 4/5. Console versions were literally and legally a scam and CDPR deserves all the flak they get for it.

Its a great time

The game looks great. The world is large and colorful. Its a fun place to just walk around in and look. TL:DR Pros -Engaging story -Great Visuals -Wide variety of weapons / armor / mods -Love the Brain Dance investigations. Cons -Gunplay does not feel smooth. It is an RPG with shooter added on, not the other way around. -Various glitches that can break missions. -Poor driving controls. In their defense, I am not that great at driving in any game. I miss RAD RACER! -Life path does not really seem change the game. General Thoughts: I play on PC with a keyboard and mouse. I have not had any problems with the controls in general. There are many NPCs running around the city and they are largely not interactive. There are many buildings and alleys to investigate. It is a big beautiful world. The inventory management can be a bit cumbersome. This is an RPG but you get enough loot that it can feel like a looter shooter. There is much selling, disassembling, and equipping to manage. The bottom line: It is a fun game. We should not be willing to accept a game launching with this many bugs, however, I have played other games in as bad or worse condition at launch that received much less scorn for it. As a result, I suppose, I am much more tolerant of such things than I used to be. I have only had to stop and reload a save to fix a broken mission one time. I have played through a lot worse. Even in it's present state, it is better than many games I have played. I would recommend this game even in its current condition. If you think it is the type of game you will enjoy, then you probably will enjoy it.

I want more...

More than 110 hours played - it's a great game, yes, there is a lot of bug's (for me it was not a lot - I have seen maybe 10 problems) But bug's will be fixed. And I just want to say - give me more... I need some DLC, expention or something else... Thanks to each developer who made this game!

Almost 5 stars

Little bugs here and there. I have yet to encounter big bugs like the ones in the media. But they are annoying when they do occur. For example I got in an elivator, pressed escape to brign up menu and save game. Then I went to press the button on the elivator of first mission with ice bath tub to continue mission and it would not work. I had to go eat after so I didn't restart. Overall the game is fantastic. A bit tricky to get used to driving controls. It's not GTA...sadly, the handling is supreme in GTA. And it's no COD either when it comes to the FPS aspect. But what it does right is everything else. The way the world feels is even superior to Star Citizen. The cyberpunk feel is a blend of borderlands with crackdown and star citizen...and it plays like skyrim with the quests and random items in the world. I like it. The special effects are great as well. Lots of neon and lensflare. Performance wise it could be better. But does not look bad at all. Still looks very nice and detailed on medium with some tweaks. On high it looks about the same but I lose a few FPS so I just went with medium as I can't really tell the difference. I am getting about 40 FPS on medium with a GTX 1070 FTW and light OC, on what is now a lower end Ryzen 1700 OCd to just 3.8 GHZ for the sake of stability.
