macdude22: If I purchase here on GoG I'm not limited to playing multiplayer with only people who have purchased on GoG correct. I.E. there will me compatibility with say steam players. Worms Reloaded used steamplay so curious as to how the multiplayer functions here. I would rather purchase here than at steam but I don't want to lock my self out of being able to play with that population
Yes, both GOG and Steam players will be ablo to play online because of one simple reason : It's not Steam who manage the servers, but Team17 (they call it Wormnet, if I'm not mistaken).
Either way, even if it was the case, you'd still be able to play online using a VPS over the LAN multiplayer.
But one question that remains is : what about direct TPC/IP connection ? I don't want to use a VPS and I don't want to play on public servers. Will I be able to open a game, and then have my friends just enter my IP address/domain name to join me ?
