Hello Mike and welcome to GOG. I have two questions:

1) Will LAN be featured in this version of Worms World Party? I'm a bit wary of rereleases, since some of them have axed LAN multiplayer (like Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000 and Homeworld Remastered).
2) Are there any short-term or long-term plans to bring Alien Breed Trilogy, Flockers, L.A. Cops, Worms Armageddon and other new and old Team 17 games on GOG?

Mike_Team17: Hello GOGers,
Welcome Team17!

I've been playing the Worms series since the '90s and it's been great! Is there a chance that the 1999 version of Worms Armageddon could make it to GOG? It has over 3,300 votes!
That's a shame. I was really looking forward to its release today. *le sigh*

Back to 'standing-fearfully-in-a-locker' simulation it is. ;)

0Grapher: I've already posted this but I fear it was overlooked.

Is your team still monitoring the demand for Linux and Mac ports?
avatar
Mike_Team17: Absolutely - the more we hear about this, the more ammo I have to kick the devs in the shins until they make it ;)

+1 vote for Linux and (why not) Mac versions/ports of the game

Mike_Team17: Hello GOGers,...
Hi Mike ! Welcome to GOG :D
It's really nice to see you there, and to see that Team 17 want to communicate here on GOG with us, that's really cool !

The delayed release is a bit sad, but for me it was a wise and the better decision. Kudos to you to have chosen to delay it in the purpose of delivering a better game !

I strongly hope too to see the original Worms Armageddon here (there is a lot of people here who would be very happy of this !), so I'm crossing my fingers :)
Can you ask about Worms Director's Cut, Worms 3D and Worms 4 Mayhem too ? But don't want to annoy you with too much questions.

A final note : some of us would be interested for bots in online match for WWP ;)

Thanks again for taking the time to go here and to answer our questions :) (and for keeping us informed !)

There is Wings here who is from an Amiga version. Do you think it wouldn't be possible to have this version of Worms in the same way ?

As far as I know that was built on Cinemaware's own emulator :)

Judas nailed it. Cinemaware built their own proprietary emulator specifically for their games. It has no bearing on any other Amiga games coming to GOG.

Oh ! Ok, I was absolutely not aware of this !
Thanks for the precisions (to you and Judas) :)
That makes my question about this particular game obsolete ^^"
