shadow1980jpv: What makes this game better than Worms 2 armageddon? I just loved and played armaggeddon as solo and multiplayer, when I was teen!
There's a few more items, and IMO the Wormpot adds a lot if you like messing around with the mechanics. It's basically a Armageddon 1.1, the two games are very close.

Hey Mike, thanks for the head's up!

Question: is there any new hope for Worms Armageddon to show up here? I disagree with the 14.99 price point on Steam (I think 9.99 is more appropriate), but for Worms games that game has the most votes on the GOG wishlist (nearly 3,400), so I am hoping something can be worked out for late this year or early/mid next year. :)

I'd also like to think with GOG Galaxy/multiplayer now a thing, the game can show up here with "Cross-Play" so people can play with their Steam pals. :)

Well, Armageddon is already a pretty full game and it can last hundreds of hours... And then you have World Party which is the exact same stuff + a few other things. Why would you prevent from playing the last one if it just has more stuff ? Don't get me wrong, if you had paid both games full price back then, I'd understand the hate, but now, if you have to choose between the two, World Party seems a better choice.

(But keep in mind I'm not the biggest Worms expert ever, I may have forgotten other things that are new with World Party)

I'm guilty of that myself sometimes. Hoping for good news from the T17 guys. I love the single player puzzle levels in the games as much as the skirmishing, so getting Armageddon here would provide even more of that IIRC.

During final testing for today's release of the game, our QA team discovered a critical bug buried deep in the game's code.

No one at Team17 is happy releasing the game with this bug in place. We'll be working our prods off to get this fixed and on sale as soon as possible. I don't currently have an ETA for you, our dev team are looking at how long the bug will take to fix and how many people we can put onto fixing it right now. As soon as I know more, I'll let you know here.

You can use this thread to get updates from me, or to ask me anything in general about Team17/Worms. I'm managing this news across a lot of channels today, so please bear with me as it may take some time for me to reply!

Just one question. What are the differences between the original release and this one? I suppose higher resolutions and Xbox pad support are probably two of them, but... Is there something more? I still own the original game, but these tiny details will make me buy the game again anyway...
