Anothername: So... from the messed up frontage with infinite loading banners again I assume you still have not looked into pale moon browers? :(
They probably won't care to... Probably also covered in the part about "old browser versions" ofthe incredibly-late-and-irrelevant-even-by-GOG-standards desperate PR push.

Lostinablock: Is there a way to get a key for Full Throttle Remastered instead of the front page banner? It doesn't work for me at all. If I sent a support ticket it may take more than 48 hours.

phaolo: Are you using Firefox like me?
I had to install Chrome to see the button -_-'
Seamonkey, Palemoon and Home made custom FF esr 52.x..

Later today, will install icecat, waterfox to see if it would work.

Fuck it, I give up.

Going through 43 pages of discounted games with the new layout is impossible. With Barefoot Essentials I could've hidden the games I already owned, but your update broke it. Of course, it didn't even cross your mind to add that feature natively. And hiding DLC to games I don't even own, that would've been a nice feature too. Or sorting by price/discount. There's so many ways you could've improved the user experience... instead all you did was remove functionality by hiding the release year filters.

MarkoH01: Here is the thing. I came home, turned on the PC and was happy because of Winter Sale. I used every clickable thing on the front page to scroll through those offers and was disappointed a bit. THEN I looked my wishlist and saw many additional offers I could not find on the front page at all. Without my wishlist I would not even have known they are there (i.e. Inner World 2 which I had on my wishlist like forever). If those offers really are not listed on the front page I completely don't believe anymore in this awful web design since it simply does not work. Note to myself: put everything you're even remotely intrerested in on the wishlist because GOG seems to be unable to point you to it and you might miss it if you don't. That is a completely new way to sell games, GOG!

Still thank you GOG for Full Throttle, another batch of GOG connect games and every offer I hav already found or hopefully still will find. Redesigning the web site though was probably one of the worst ideas you EVER had! This is NOT a rant, it's valid critizism. If you are planning on reworking this you maybe should assign a few more people to it. This way the front page might be usuable again in 2022. Sorry, but I am just too disappointed to not being sarcastic right now.
And here I am thinking there's still way too many games on the frontpage.
Out of curiosity:compared to the front page, what are the drawbacks of the store filtered by discount?

In fact that is exactly where I ended up (keep in mind that the list view you just linked me to was not available when they redesigned the page and it is not as if GOG would tell us everything about their great web site additions anymore - another user helped me out here, I did not even know about it). I then went through 43 pages of short lists (since for whatever reason you are unable to simply scroll through all of them) with unsorted discounts ranging from very low to high and DLCs being in the middle of it all. I'd call this chaotic at best and it's really not much fun to do that. I added every game I could even remotely be interested in to my wishlist (which is now about 70 games thanks to this) and with that I am done with the front page.

Maybe people with much time on their hand don't worry about such things but unfortunately I am not one of those.

ReynardFox: Nice, website is completely busted on Firefox ESR. Again.

The incompetence continues.
Unfortunately lately GOG webdesign is more about looking new and modern than about being functional and compatible and appealing to as many customers as possible. I say it again: it's a strange marketing strategy. But what do I know?

dear GOG,

no one is interested in wasting time wading through 40+ pages of unfiltered nonsense. Please, fire the monkey that works as your website designer and get someone more competent. Adding filters like "sort by price" isn't that hard.

Thank you for explaining.
It would be nice to be able to sort by discount and filter out DLC, I do agree on that point.
Thank you GOG for making the freebie, and the two earn-able bonus games all multi-platform.
Windward is 65% off, but its base price is $15 here compared to $10 on Steam.

gozer: dear GOG,
If you go to the store page there is a price filter.
Many thanks for Fullthrottle, that is a heavyweight title as a choice for a giveaway.
Enjoy it

Hey guys, definitely looking forward to buying a few games here and there but first priority is buying games before Beamdog tries shaking me down with nonsense "Enhanced Editions". Besides Icewind Dale 2(am buying for this sale) what games should I be worried that they will try to fleece me for?
