Only Chris Avellone, I believe. And he can do multiple things, he worked on Planescape and FO2 at the same time, as I recalled.
Anyway, backed it because I'm a big RPG nerd and it looks pretty promising.. Plus Obsidian is one of those studios who often get screwed over by publishers, so Kickstarter seems like it'd be good for 'em.

I will most likely back this. Although, I am wondering why the digital download has to be via Steam.... :/
I mean they could do it via GOG....
Oh well, there is always the boxed version correct?
Regardless I have been dying for a new game like this for.. a while now.
And what really is getting me excited:
"Project Eternity will take the central hero, memorable companions and the epic exploration of Baldur’s Gate, add in the fun, intense combat and dungeon diving of Icewind Dale, and tie it all together with the emotional writing and mature thematic exploration of Planescape: Torment."
Yes...YES!!!....YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! :D

Backed without reading more than a single sentence. This is what a no-brainer looks like.

Why, oh why they tie the DL to Steam? To hell with it. I'm backing it anyway. This looks too good to pass up. Probably go with a tier that also includes a boxed copy.

low rated
Only idiots would buy a fresh release from Obsidian. Sure, they might have had some great ideas in the long past, but they could not program a decent, stable product even if their lives depended on it. Their newly released games are always buggy and unplayable.
That is why gamers (who might have admired their efforts and ideas) stopped buying their games after awhile, and that's why those guys keep going bankrupt over and over again, (And I've heard Obsidian is not doing so well after New Vegas.) I refuse to buy another game from them until they learn how to properly code, quality-control and release a stable game.

Pretty much this. The isometric party thing is awesome icing, but this is really the central thing. :D

Ugh... another kickstarter, steam download only, exclusive "pre-order" in game content... I'm really, really getting tired of this crap. I'll pledge for now, but I doubt I'll see it through.
