This is using the new Gog downloader. trying to download the witcher.

I removed the whole game

Had problems with 3.2.7.0 as well, including freezing and checksum errors (I thought it was because my bandwidth got shaped down for a short while) - good to see a patch was popped out so fast, and happy to say those issues cleared up. Excellent work as always GOG Team!

Deleted all user data. deleted all game data. uninstalled gog. reinstalled got. started witcher download. checksum error 132. turned gog off and on. Game no longer shows up in window. My log file is too long to post in full. Theres no where to attach the log file. The end of my log where the error pops up. (posted it)

How can it not be related to gog's downloader? There are a lot of people who have issues with the latest downloader.

I am using a fresh install of the latest Gog downloader with ZERO gog files on my computer. My laptop is brand new. Fully updated windows 7. My firewall and virus scan is off when downloading from gog.

For the last few days i have been downloading a lot of games from steam. Zero isues there. I can download files anywhere on the internet just fine without curruption or errors. I checked my .net framework 3.5 and theres no curruption issues there.

I use to download gog games on my old desktop computer which is windows xp 32bit without issues on gogs older downloader. Never had checksum issues on the old download client.

Is there some issue thats only between gog downloader and my laptop? (no other sites etc) Theres no bloatware running when i do game downloads.

If the issues on my end somehow. What is it? and why can i download files for a hour or so without issues then all of a sudden a checksum error pops up. When errors happen in downloads isn'tt a downloader suppose to correct it and start where it left off?

I hope it's not a issue with my laptop as it was very expensive and is brand spanking new :P. I got it as im off to America soon for a long holiday and i wanted all my fav gog games on it before i set off.

New version seems to have fixed my issue with (somehow) the Downloader wanting to download the Mac OS X Installation file for Divine Divinity. Even though I removed that file (nor did I even want it in the first place, since I'm on Windows), it would show up every time I started the DL'er.

I've been attempting to download The Witcher 2 and haven't had any luck with the downloader. The update didn't change anything for me. I have deleted everything in the AppData/Local/GOG.com folder and deleted everything in my GOG.com Downloads folder. The result is the Downloader giving me the error: Checksum error on chunk 2, please contact support!

When the download first started, it was going at a normal progression (gradual increase in progression bar and download amount), then it jumps to nearly complete even though that's not possible with my internet connection in that time. I left it running while I went to town and found that error when I returned 2-3 hours later.

6. The new version of the downloader still isn't working; I'm getting checksum errors left and right. Messiah was downloading alright for a while, but it ran into a checksum error on chunk 19. Three more game downloads received checksum errors on chunk 0. A fifth game got one on chunk 29.

It's worth noting that there hasn't been any significant change in my hardware/software setup or ISP reliability. All problems started with the recent update to the downloader.

P.S. Please let us downgrade to a working version until the issues are worked out.
