It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Doesn't work with me either (using XP system).
First the updated downloader deleted the queue from the old version.
I tried downloading some smaller games, sometimes the download bar was stuck at 100% (installation of the game seems to work okay).

Today I tried downloading some bigger games, resulting to "error on chunk X please contact support" errors. Also the new downloader freezes a lot. Resuming the download after restart is impossible (it starts always at 0%), with files from previous queue appearing again on the list.

I tried installing the old version (3.0.52) but it seems that downloading the updated version is mandatory.
This sucks so badly. I downloaded 90 % of The Witcher 2 the last day and now I cant resume download. Crap!

Unfortunately the new downloader does not support resuming old downloads.

RichardJames13: Is it possible to downgrade from 3.2.7.0 until they fix it? If so where can we get the old downloader?
Downgrade from 3.2.7.0 to old version is not possible.

farlark: Any word from GOG when the downloader will be fixed? Browser-based downloading isn't viable for some of us, so, for the moment, I can't access the games on my shelf. I really would like to use an older, non-broken version of the downloader.
The new version of downloader with current bugs fixed will be released at monday (22 Oct).

Don't know if anyone's already mentioned this, but the GOG Dowloader seems to not work on 32-bit Intel Macs. Or at least, it doesn't work on my Core Duo MacBook (but it does work on a Core 2 Duo MacBook).

Edit: You know, looking at these other comments makes me long for the days of the old Adobe AIR-based downloader. I don't remember anyone having nearly as many problems with that versus the new versions.

cool. Glad that you guys got a fix out right after the weekend (when the problems started to rise on Friday, that's pretty cool.)
New download client on Monday? Sweet, thank you :) I've been having a lot of trouble with the downloader. I am fairly new to GoG and was really frustrated, but I'm glad I'm not the only one, I feel less stupid now :p

Anyway, I managed to get BGII downloaded. I've been trying to download IWD and NWN and it has been a lot of hassle. Somehow I managed to get IWD done (it was frozen for a long time, I don't know how it fixed itself).

NWN has been a problem since yesterday. It claimed I was downloading 40kb/s, but the progress bar remained at 0B. Erasing the log file mentioned in this thread's OP managed to get it going again (after a fresh install and deletion of log file).

EDIT: It seems I spoke too soon. For some reason the progress bar for NWN jumped to 2.2GB (complete) and is now going backwards, lol, what is going on here :p Downloader v3.2.7.0 (stable) Windows XP (english)

EDIT2: Restarted the client and now my progress is at "16EB of 2.21GB" whatever that means. . .

EB stands for exabytes.

Oh, I know that part. I just don't know why it's happening.

I'll take a look if it won't make to much of a trouble to make it compatible. 32-bit Macs are no longer sold since like 6 years though ;)

The GOG downloader just gives me checksum errors after awhile downloading. Forcing me to delete the download files and start over. This is beyound a joke. Payed for games i can't even download.

Windows 7 64bit.

The other issue i have with this downloaer is i can't even choose which games i want to pause the download and which i want to download first. This prevents me from chercking which downloads are broken or not.

UGH!!!!

We're working on an update for the Windows client that should resolve all or most of the problems. In the meantime you can try downloading the game via a web browser. Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.

Same here. Yesterday started to download my games to save them on my external harddrive. First 100 or so went ok, but today I started to get checksum errors. Now all installers give checksum errors, bonus content downloads fine, though. (windows 7, downloader version 3.2.7.0)
New version seems towork fine. Thanks, Szulak.
New version downloads fine, only issue I saw was when I removed one game from the queue, it removed all games from the queue but was still downloading them in the background, not really a big issue, just thought you should know.
