staticblast: That should be fixed now, according to a dev a few posts back.
Weird, it didn't work when I was getting stuff from Conquest a few minutes ago, but it's working now for Screamer. Well then, I retract my issue!
Downloaded 2 of the Games I got today.

The first, Screamer, ran almost perfectly. But the second, VR Soccer 96, gave problems. The first thing that I got with both downloads, is when I added them to the downloaded it added them as paused, which I found weird. only saw the troubles 30 minutes after starting screamer.

Tried downloading VR Soccer it 3 times, first time it started and stopped, tried pausing it and restarting it, and it didn't work. Then removed everything it, and installed the downloader again. Added vr soccer again and it started downloading after I pressed resume, since it added it as paused ( resume 10 minutes after starting the download) it showed on the downloader that it downloaded 103MB out of 103MB, but on the FileSystem it only downloaded 19MB :( Attatched a screenshot here: http://lookpic.com/O/i2/582/ru6SH67V.jpeg

Had to download it with Firefox as the Downloader didn't want to download :(

On XPSP3, downloader 3.2.7.0

This Downloader has a mind of his own :(

I cancelled the VR Soccer download from it. Closed the downloader, went and opened it up again, and poof it started downloading again, with no download it the queue. Closed the Downloader, then opened it up again, and *poof* there was VR Soccer again busy downloading

PureRok: No. Here's what's happening. Check the attachment. Edit: Also, I know it's the downloader using all of that speed because the usage goes back to 0 when I pause the download.

Szulak: You must press "Save" button to apply changes to downloader.
I know that. I'm not an idiot. I had opened the options again to show that I had set it to that, which the downloader said it was doing. That's why I had the network monitor open next to it to show that the downloader wasn't telling the truth. It was reporting that it was doing 150 kb/s when in reality it was using 670 kb/s.
I installed the downloader mayb of days ago, worked fine, then I updated, and at first it worked fine too. But for several hours now the only way I could keep track of a download's progress is by pausing and resuming it, otherwise it stays at 0 (if it was a new download) or the last known size after resuming.
Had a bunch of games I wanted to redownload, but some files came up corrupt. So I removed all the games I added to the list and was gonna re-add them and try re-downloading again. Anyway, I remove them all one by one, then I restart the downloader and - they're all back in the download trying to download. I tried this a couple times, removing the games from the downloader and restarting the downloader and they all pop right back in the download queue. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the downloader and they still showed right back up in the queue. How do I get these games out of my queue????

Did you try to delete the files in the user-specific gog-downloader directory? Depending of your operating system the directory is located at:
Windows 7/Vista - C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com
Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\GOG.com
Mac OS X - Contents from the Console app regarding the GOG Downloader
All good again. It seems the connection problem earlier was a server side issue on GOG.com.

I'm back to 5mb/s download speeds.
I know this has already been requested multiple times, but can we please use an older, working version of the downloader until the new one is working?

Have the same problem, as well as the progress do not move above 0 unless pausing and resuming. Had quite a few games still downloading wich had to be readdded as the updated downloader did not recognize the current files allready downloaded, It basically restarts from scratch each time the downloader is restarted as well.
Have tried to download The Witcher 2 multiple times now, constant checksum errors.

I'm downloading the "parts" now but lets see how that goes .... quite honestly I first went looking for a torrent but all the ones I could find were of the boxed version instead of the GOG.

yay for people not pirating GOGz, but now I'm stuck with a 15gb download using GOG's (currently) crappy ass official download methods. *sigh*
1) The downloader doesn't seem to save all settings across restarting the client. Ie It remembers I chose to limit bandwidth to 150kb/s, but it didn't remember to actually enable it (at least the tick is no longer present). Not that it matters much because:

2) The bandwidth limiter has no effect. The bandwidth shown in the downloader client coincides with the one chosen in the settings, but the network monitors show it still using the same bandwidth. 2mbps regardless of whether I limit it to 150kb/s or 100kb/s in the client. What does it do with the rest?

3) Shouldn't the client remember what it already has downloaded after restarting it? And not start again from the beginning as it does for me. (Ie I've DLed almost 200MB of Screamer, but starting the downloader again it starts from the very beginning downloading the first 5 chunks. And also doesn't update its progress bar unless I pause it and then resume it again.

4) Removing a file from the DL list just means it comes back at the next restart, even if I delete the .bin files in Documents&Settings. Does it scan the target directory for any unfinished files or something as well? Maybe if I delete those as well they will stay away from the client DL list. Can't try now though as I don't want to lose my new Screamer progress...

Frankly all I want is the ability to limit the bandwidth and the ability to pause the download, none of which I can do through the web browser. The ability to continue a download after a restart would also be appreciated. As it is it seems I only get one out of the three. (Whereas I could get all three easily if there was a torrent choice like the humblebundle has.)

NightK: Any actually, no bonus content from any of my titles is being added to the downloader. I tried, Divinity 2 bonus content and Fallout 1 bonus content packs.

Szulak: Could you delete everything from: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\GOG.com, turn Downloader, add Divinity 2 bonus content and them, post a log here please?
I'll try that as well. Any chance that it will also fix the inability to reorder, the invisible downloading and any of the rest of the stuff?

Right now I can drag and drop so long as I drag and drop within the confines of the item I clicked on, not very useful for reordering.

Strange, I just tried and I am able to reorder downloads both game "groups" and within group (for example to download some bonus before others).

The downloader is effectively completely broken at this point. Reordering doesn't work because it changes to a drag and drop file thing. The status of a download doesn't update while downloading, but will refresh if I pause and unpause it, but then goes back to not updating. Any games that are downloaded are corrupt.

But on the bright side, I can now download the bonus materials, which I couldn't yesterday.

I've uninstalled and installed it a couple times now and I don't think I've ever seen the downloarder quite this borked. Except possibly for that period when everybody was using the Free download manager.

I'm guessing there's some sort of nasty bug that they didn't find during testing because the beta worked perfectly. and nothing has changed on my system other than the forced update.
