I try to say the things I think should be said and I feel people might be thinking, but don't because there's risk in saying such things.

I don't have any case on them other than where they voted. Like I mentioned, that 2nd or 3rd vote on someone is a nice place for the first scum to slip in without attracting too much notice. This is again, assuming the train on dedo stopped because a / the scum are already on, and not that dedo is the scum.

I completely agree here... I've got Bookwyrm leaning town but I don't like that post at all. Why the hell is he calling for people to lynch dedo if he doesn't believe dedo is scum and isn't willing to vote on him himself? Really really dodgy post...

I like this post, matches very much with what I'm thinking. When I was checking the forums earlier I saw Lift's post about Night closing in so I'd been thinking about who I thought most scummy and how to vote and now that I come to post I see CSPVG's already said a lot of what I was thinking.

I don't like what dedo did / tried to do, and I don't agree with his conclusions. As someone else mentioned (sorry, too lazy to try and find the reference right now) he seems a bit angrier this game, but I think this can be put down to him feeling he his being picked on or attacked over his actions (which, I suppose he has been). All in all, I don't see him as all that scummy, and if I were to place my vote on him it would be because I didn't like the method he used, not because I believed he was scum. That's not a good reason to vote, so I won't.

Ix on the other hand seems to just be throwing accusations around pretty randomly and attempting to push wagons (not just on dedo, but on Krypsyn and JMich too. Krypsyn I could see as he's been acting pretty scummy, but JMich is fairly town leaning for me...)
Plus he tries to portray the second and third votes on dedo as being possible places for scum, whereas his vote on dedo is the fourth and just as good a hiding place for scum as far as I can see.

So for now I think the best option is:

Maybe a third thought to take into consideration., if I may. It is day one and everyone is going at this with not much to go on and with not much to go on - maybe grasping at straws. AKA anything that may seem a bit off or stand out. Well in doing this there are bound to different things seen by different people. So to say everyone should jump on someone and if they do not he is scum, to me is not exactly a full proof theory. =/

I do see that you are saying what you think and not how it is but also take into consideration that scum might also be laying back and letting town do there dirty work for them.


As of right now I will not be voting dedo either. As other stated I am not overly keen on the whole find the special word but I do not think it moves him to scum for me. I have dedo leaning town right now. So I will not be voting for someone I have as leaning town. I do reserve the right to change this with new information.

I am on the fence about IX. Your play confuses me but that could be on purpose If that purpose was to confuse, then sir you are doing a good job. I am not sure I have you as scum yet though. If that makes sense. Its like my mind says yes how can he not be with how he is acting and voting and his reason but than there is this little part down in my gut that keeps telling me that maybe you are working at something that we do not see yet, I dunno maybe I am reading to much into this.

Seems fair. Basically, for the life of me, I cannot see why someone would vote Dedo at that point unless he is scum and hoping for a wagon to remove a potentially confirmed town. Even if you don't buy the credibility of Bookwyrm's slip, the fact Dedo saw it and was so sure every town could recognize it when mentioned, proves him town to me. What would have happened if Dedo claimed that and a variation was not in our PM's? He'd be already lynched...

I'm still very suspicious of Krypsyn because of the way he has tried to completely minimize the value of that information. I cannot see how a rational person cannot see this. So I also believe he is scum.

The term Bookwyrm627 was totally out of place. It is a logical deduction that he got it from his his PM, regardless of any other outside information, because, as you have stated, it was written nowhere publicly. Thus, it is a bad town tell.

This is the other big part of the reason I voted for dedoporno, and the reason I was so mum about it.

I figured the a likely reason he jumped on trentonlf is because of what Bookwyrm627 wrote. If indeed this was the reason, I couldn't be sure if he was scum doing this to try to take advantage of Bookwyrm627's set-up (whether it was intended or unintended), or if he was town.

Also, there is Robbeasy quickly jumping on to add his vote on Bookwyrm so quickly after dedoporno. This was also interesting, in terms of timing, and I could be sure if he might not be scum trying to hide in the shadow of town's action (this assumes dedoporno is town).

I figured the best way to get a feel for the situation would be to vote for dedoporno, who I was already fairly suspicious of for reasons I have stated earlier, but do it in such a way that would draw attention. I wanted to unbalance the situation a little bit to see if I could get some reactions and gather more information.

I was actually quite happy with you voted for me, RWarehall, because I was hoping for some more people to jump on my wagon when my proverbial blood was in the water, so I could have a bandwagon of sorts to look at (hence my none too subtle pleas for people to vote). Especially I wanted to see how Robbeasy would react, but he, annoyingly, hasn't really done that much. Sadly, it looks like my wagon fizzled before it got a good head of steam.

I am still uncertain about Robbeasy and dedoporno. I feel one of them is probably scum, but not the other. The whole BookWyrm627 situation just doesn't sit right with me. I need to think about it, so for now:

As for Ixamyakxim, this is sort of play is just like him. I am not ready to jump on his wagon at this time.

Let me amend the portion with the most egregious goofs (changes will be bolded):

Is this a safe assumption?? In the last game mafia were able to talk Day and Night.

Rule #4 covers this. Over 50% gets lynched.

I also find much to like about CSPVG's post. However, I can't help but think Ixamyakxim's impetuous vote and argument are coming from trying to make something happen. In post #376 I find his comment (This is again, assuming the train on dedo stopped because a / the scum are already on, and not that dedo is the scum.) to be confusing at best.

Is his vote because dedoporno is scummy or not??

Also the tunnel vision of vote placement on a train can be problematic. I could vote for Ixamyakxim and may do so after rereading.

Bookwyrm's last post rings all kinds of bells, though unsure if it's newbieness, scumminess or attempt to lessen the pressure of a scum buddy. Guess he is one to watch more closely, along with those that are certain he is town.

Trentonlf's post #374 says it for me...(You start your final paragraph in what seems to be "let's lynch dedo" and end it with a "I'm not going to do it though". Makes it seem as if you are trying to push a lynch but keep your hands clean. )

Dedo - less sure now, especially as he came out with the 'loyalist' read on Bookwyrm which is patently a false read - for me it is anyway, as I dont have that word in my PM.

BUT - if he was scum, trying a move like this on the first day is either brass balls of the highest order, or just plain madness. Therefore I have him leaning Town as well, as I don't think he would have the gonads to try something like that (sorry Dedo..;)

@ Flubb - its a safe-ish assumption i think - last game was highly unusual in many ways, and the flavour of this game doesnt really give us anything which leads us to believe they can talk in the day as well - we are ALL cooped up in one place, remember?

I'm comfortable with getting behind the Ix wagon - his initial reason for going after me was so bad, with a totally over the top reaction - lying, really??!! - he was just trying to create something out of copmplete thin air for me , therefore
