Yeah, in this case GfW Markeplace client is just a installer (like Impulse client). Don't forget to download and install Complete 2009 (2012) mod.

Should I get it? Can I just ignore the GFW client after installing, like I can with AOE3?

Also some of the STALKER mods, including Complete, are some of the most professional looking mods I've ever seen!
Whoah! I didn't even see that. I thought it was today's sale, not yesterday's.

Bought Clear Sky from GG, they say it is DRM free, but they still provide an activation key :(.
STALKER Complete mod is just only visual modification, i still could enjoy original story game, couldn't i?
I have SoC,CS :D; hope CoP Loyalty will onsale soon (alone no SoC+CoP bundle)

It's just a serial for the installer, it isn't activating anything (I think it's only needed for multiplayer). The Complete mod is not only visual enhancements but also a huge bugfix mod. Includes lots of balancing and overall improvements, the original story is unchanged. I wouldn't play the game without that mod, vanilla is just broken in some parts.

It isn't an activation key, it's a multiplayer key for online. I checked the installer with protectionId and it doesn't have TAGES like CoP. SoC also uses a cd-key for online multiplayer.

For those that are interested MangaGamer permanently dropped prices on almost all their games. For example, every arc of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai now costs only 9.95$.
