Does Dungeon Siege get any different later on? I played the demo of the third and just wasn't having any fun.

Are you using a pad?

Some of the skills do get quite fun later on, but the game itself is rather poor on keyboard and mouse.

Edit: sorry, I'm talking about Dungeon Siege 3. That's no good!

I pre-ordered the original Dungeon Siege and played through it, but apart from the AMAZING GRAPHICS! I found it to be rather samey, and just a bit too automated to be fully engaging.

Edit again: wait, demo of the "third", I was right first time! >.<

It's the same thing all the way through. If you don't like those kinds of mindless loot games no amount of Obsidian dialogue can make it fun, in my experience.

I just remembered I had a similar reaction to the demo of the first game some years back. I guess the series isn't for me, then.

The story of this last one didn't seem very interesting either, despite Obsidian.
