dyscode: Yesterday i bought
Shattered Haven (Beta) the new Arcen Game from GG.
A Valley Without Wind / 2 was a blast, already.
This 16 bit survival puzzler is also damn cool and still 25% off, $7.49 instead of $10 until March 16.
There is a gameplay video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViJtVxH5vPI Immoli: "This game works a bit differently from our other titles. In our prior titles, a simple license key check was required. This let us have a demo that could be turned into the full version via the classic shareware fashion, and it let players register their games via the CD key on Steam. However, it also barred us from certain distributors that require games to be completely DRM-free, and was a mild annoyance. With this game, therefore, we're giving it a shot as 100% DRM-free. This means no CD key, and you get a secure download of the game once you buy it. "
Confirmed for coming out on GOG?
I can't think of many other places that require games to lack a CD-key for single player in order to be sold.
Indievania might be the only other place?
Nope, like for the oldies GOG could use one serial number for an unlocked version in it's own installer. Personally I also don't see a problem for Indievania or Arcen to do the same, maybe I'm missing here something.
