ne_zavarj: On Steam ? I don't have it .

serpantino: Me neither. I don't want it either though. It's far from the best tower defense & the genre is massively oversaturated anyhow.
You are right, it's far from the best but one of the best designed TDs. It also has some humor.

Yeah I did play it a bit and I must admit that it has a brilliant difficulty curve but it is a bit basic and clearly more tailored to their casual game followers. There's been a few mix ups in the genre but tower defense seems to be a dime a dozen at the moment (so a bit like fps atm I guess.)

Sonic 4 Episode II is $10.94 on Greenman Gaming. I am very happy. :D

EDIT: Unlike Sonic 4 Episode I (at least the last time I downloaded it and proceeded to back up the game files), this episode is not DRM-free, and apparently cannot be run independently of Steam. It tries to launch Steam if you do. This is a question I've been meaning to ask for some time now, but if anybody knows how to deal with these problems, I'd appreciate a PM.

Man, I wish Sega was on GOG already. I'd have paid the $4 extra if it meant actually owning this game. At least I got it with credit, and my hopes weren't terribly high that it'd have no DRM. Just thought some of you might want to know as much as I wanted to.

As long as I'm here, does anybody happen to know if my other major wishlist item, "Ys: The Oath in Felghana", has DRM? If you own it, just try launching it without Steam running and see if it loads. It should be DRM-free if that's the case, providing there isn't any sort of registry or online check of some kind.

It's Steamworks. One of the US devs confirmed this on the Steam forum a while back.

I think another dev said they'd look into DRM free versions, but knowing Falcom... it probably won't happen for now.
For people who want some good old-fashioned story-driven RPG action (this means you, PS:T fans!), Avernum 4/5/6 ("The Great Trials Trilogy") is now available on Steam and on sale for 20% off. http://store.steampowered.com/sub/14583/

For any Mac users out there who don't already have these games, the Mac versions are on sale for $9.99. (Technical difficulties preclude the Mac versions being on Steam via Steamplay.) http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com/newstuff.shtml

I have all three, and while my favorites are A4 and A5, A4-6 are fantastic games that'll give you hundreds of hours of gameplay between them.

I agree. Ceville is a good point & click adventure game.
Yep, Ceville is good. Less British than Time, Gentlemen, Please but good.
