gbaz69: Btw, any suggestions on what to specifically upgrade would help.
I know many newer games are win7 or win8 only :(. I probably need an entirely new pc.
Your graphics won't be capable of handling it, since it can't handle some newer less demanding games. So you'll want to get something new there depending on your budget + overclock your processor to over 3.1 Ghz (you'll need a non-stock cooler for that). You've held off on that long enough. ^^

The graphics should run you around $150 more or less depending on sales and how minimal you're going. The cooler can be $20-$50 (you'll need a tube of decent thermal paste though, $6-$15) if you don't have an aftermarket one already.
I'm in for Divinity: Original Sin. Why do I want it? I looks amazing from the footage I've seen and I've heard nothing but positive things about the game. I still haven't played the original Divinity games, but from what others have said (not directly to me) you really don't need to know what happened in the previous games to understand the story. I also like RPGs, so there's that. +1 for the giveaway.

As far as my favorite fantasy movie goes (as far as I can think of right now that isn't Lord of the Rings, also part 3 of the Hobbit fucking sucks), I'll go with Spirited Away. It's about a young girl trying to survive in this bizarre world with the help of a young boy where her parents get turned into pigs by a powerful witch. Beautiful movie.

Edited because I forgot to include why I wanted the game.

RayRay13000: Tempted to enter for Divinity:Original Sin, but I'll pass for now (or maybe I'll change my end in a few minutes). +1 for the giveaway though.

Is it wrong to say I find Studio Ghibli overrated?

I don't know I just like more darker anime and manga stories than Ghibli.

Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Lone Wolf and Cub, Perfect Blue, the works of Oshimi Shuzo like Aku no Hana.

Not really (the only Ghibli film I didn't care about that much was Ponyo), but different strokes I guess.

A dark anime I did like was Paranoia Agent.

And come on leave the Hobbit movies alone.

I don't want the trilogy to immortilized as the legendarily bad movies along side The Star Wars Prequals, Transformers, Uwe Boll, Batman and Robin, Godzilla 1998.

People on the internet nitpicking the movies to hell and back. They are not bad. And I have read the books :(
Wow, what a terrifically generous giveaway. In for Divinity:Original Sin please.

I'd like to own this game because I have been a fan of the series since Divine Divinity, picking it up on a friend's recommendation at Target (back when most pc games had to be bought as physical copies at retail stores, when my beard was nothing more than a patchy little spot on my chin and above my lip).I played through Beyond Divinity and-

Actually you know what? I've got rpgs in waiting as it is, including a couple from giveaway wins already. I'll forego my entry for this GA because I'm sure that someone else in this thread would start playing it immediately.

Cheers for the giveaway once again, and I wish you the best for the new year.

I enjoyed watching them as a fantasy fan, but.. they were indeed quite terrible lol.. unneeded trilogy with stretched scenes, many goofy-wtf moments, new plot elements so-so overall.

I actually liked part 1 and 2 of the trilogy, part 3 was...pretty disappointing.
I'm in for Divinity: Original Sin - and thank you for such a splendid, high-stakes giveaway. I'd like this one in part because of the universal good reviews, which make it sound amazing, and in part because I am slowly laboring my way through the Divinity series, enjoying it a lot and finding it very time-consuming.

Favorite fantasy novel or movie. Well, I'm going to remove Lord of the Rings from the running, though it is my favorite, simply because it's too obvious, and we all know the story.

A couple of years ago I read The Last Unicorn, by Peter S. Beagle. I had somehow always thought that it was a classic YA book that was part of everyone's American childhood except mine - in the same way that I never read the Madeleine L'Engle books, I thought this one had slipped through my cracks. In fact, it was written in the 60s, when Beagle was in his 20s, and it's an astonishingly timeless book, and not nearly as widely-read as I had thought.

It tells the story, as one might expect, of the world's last unicorn, who becomes curious when she realizes that she's the last. She ventures out of the forest to explore the world and to find out where the other unicorns have gone. There are many adventures along the way, some of which are standard fantasy fare and some of which are heart-rending or funny. Along the way she is joined by Schmendrick the Magician and the unforgettable Molly Grue, who is probably my vote for the most beautiful character ever written in a novel (if you know the book, the scene where Molly meets the unicorn, and asks why she's here now and not before when Molly was younger, made me burst into tears). Eventually the Unicorn reaches the kingdom of King Haggard, and his son Prince Lír, and is transformed into a young human woman in a burst of desperate magic. She faces off against the Red Bull, a monster of infinite menace, and ultimately discovers the fate of the unicorns. The story is a love story at times, but much more than a love story, and it ends in ways that are unexpected.

I read a lot, and not very much in fantasy; The Last Unicorn may be the most lovely book I have ever read, and it moved me immensely.

I'm in for the Bullfrog Complete. I would love to get my hands on the Populous series.

Here we have a salamander. The most interesting fact about them that I found was that they can have tongues up to ten times as long as their bodies.

Edit: If I'm lucky enough to win I will actually be more than willing to give away Theme Hospital, Theme Park, both Syndicates, and the Magic Carpet games.

Coelocanth:
I thought of saying I would enter if you would enter the giveaway for Secret Santa and Elves, but then I realized you still wouldn't enter because it's not a Groot thing to do and you really do embody Groot :-)

I will say though, if you are looking for a good author to read I recommend Brandon Sanderson. He writes fantasy novels and sure knows how to spin a good tale.

His latest series is The Stromlight Archive, the first book is called The Way of Kings. You will not be disappointed if you read it ;)

SPOILER

Thorin Oakenshield was awesome in this movie. :(

Amd I know every fangirl is crying after what happened to Fili and Kili. You would not believe how popular they are among the Fanfiction and Deviantart circles:

Does that really count as a spoiler though? In the end Thorin was alright.
