Great choice of games, very generous of you Coelocanth. (Not in.)
I'm in for: Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition

The why: I like dystopian/post-apocalyptic stuff. Stories about survival in the harshest conditions are something that are resonating deep within me. I never thought why. I just accept it. Loved the original Fallout games and New Vegas for the mood that those games are creating for me. A mixed feeling of despair and hope. I liked Miller's A Canticle for Leibowitz, Brin's Postman and Bradbury's Martian Chronicles. Liked Jericho (probably the closest thing that we got to the Fallout style of Nuclear Apocalypse) and loved Mad Max (curious about how the new movie and game will be). I have yet to play the Metro series (i understand that they are quite good).

I understand that Wastedland 2 is a mix between Fallout and Fallout Tactics (turn based combat + a bigger party) and it has a good system of choices and consequences (which i really like in a game - Alpha Protocol, the original Fallout series, New Vegas and The Witcher series are the best in that regard). All I've seen looked well and right for my gaming preferences.

The picture:

Desert squirrels in the Kalahari desert. The significance: life can adapt and survive in the worst imaginable conditions. Which by itself is amazing. Beauty can be found even in a "dead" place like the desert. But the desert is far from being dead. There are plants perfectly adapted to the desert environment and there are animals insects that can live for a long time on those seas of sand. From the well known camel to the snake from the oryx and the gazelles to the jackals and coyotes, scorpions, toads and frogs. The desert is more alive than we see it. We tend to focus on the climate, but lose from sight the entire life that is there. Even the human adapated to the desert, proof being the nomadic tribes that are travelling through the desert, knowing how to navigate it without getting lost.
I'm in for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

What a better picture than the product page where I bought it, so you can see stats and more...
CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXH525LQ Desktop PC
Upgraded it with 32 GB of 1600 9-9-9-24 latency RAM
Haven't pushed the overclocking yet, just letting it do its own with the MOBO's Turbo mode.

I found GoG because of the Witcher 1. I still think its one of the best games I have ever played. I highly enjoyed the click timing mechanics for battle (which I know some had problems with), but when they work as intended without lag time, I felt it brought something new and unique. With all the morally ambiguous choices, I decided to read Andrzej Sapkowski's original books (at least the ones translated to English). so I could attempt to play through it the way I imagined Geralt would actually choose. Witcher 2 was also spectacular, especially the graphics. While the gameplay is solid, I found it somewhat less unique than the first Witcher.

Nevertheless, I can't think of another series which presents you with so many realistic difficult choices. Most games are good vs. evil. The Witcher has always had much more in the way of shades of grey.

I am in for Wasteland 2

OH - MY - GOODNESS!
Definitely the best giveaway ever! I will add you to the best-giveaways-of-2014 thread right after I finish this one.

Why I want this game? Despite receiving not only top reviews, this is my most anticipated game since years. I played Fallout 1 and 2 many times and want some more of this feeling.
There are two things I love: RPGs and post-apocalyptic settings. Wasteland 2 combines both.
But there's more to say: I am also a big fan of inXile Entertainment. They revive good oldschool gaming in an adequate way. I played The Bard's Tale and I am a backer (and active member in the uservoice section) of Torment: Tides of Numenera.

The image I am appending is from 'Book of Eli'. It is one of my favorite movies of all times, mainly because I love post-apocalyptic settings so much. It's like watching a movie in the world of Fallout 3.

Wow, thank you for such a tremendous giveaway!

I am in for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

I love The Witcher series so far and I want to play this.

My rig
CPU: AMD Phenom II (6-core)
Graphics: ATI Radeon 7750
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz
1 TB HD
OS: Win 7, 64 bit and Mint 17 as dual boot.
Wow, what a super giveaway. (shame we can't attach images)

I'm in for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt... has the system specs been posted yet?
Why do I want this game? To play it of course, and to support gog/cd-project red.
REGARDLESS, I'm going to have to upgrade my pc (unless low settings would work).

Vista 64-bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU - 920 @ 2.67GHz
6 gigs ram
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
40 inch Sony Tv (yea yea I know, it was gift when I got out of the hospital)

Btw, any suggestions on what to specifically upgrade would help.
I know many newer games are win7 or win8 only :(. I probably need an entirely new pc.

edit: fix

I'm in for Divinity:Original Sin

I want this game cause i really enjoy playing these kinds of RPGs, tho i haven't played these in a while and i want to get back to it. Also because of the great reviews this game had got me the itch to play this one.

As for my favorite fantasy novel, tho i don't like to repeat the same answer than people before me, my favorite is The Lord of the Rings. I first borrowed the books and read them in portuguese, but recently i bought the trilogy among with other Tolkien books in English to read again. As for the synopsis, I will give you a real quick one cause everyone knows it and people already answered here. I would say its about the journey of a group of heroes, a fellowship if you will, on their quest to destroy the one ring and bring and end to the evil Sauron.

Thanks for such a great giveaway
+1 to you sir
I'm not in for anything, even though it is very tempting. But there is 99,95% chance that my PC wouldn't run the first three and for the BF... I'll just renounce the chance. I've experienced very much of the community's generosity already and want to let others experience it as well.

Nevertheless, big thank you for the GA! It is very rare to see a giveaway of a total value of... wait... $200/€160? Wow! Really thanks! :)
I'm in for Bullfrog Complete Bundle.

I guess I would start with the Syndicate games. Followed by many hours of fun with Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper and Populous.

As for an amphibian:
The Japanese giant salamander is the second-largest salamander in the world, with a length of up to almost 1.5 m (5 ft).
Not in but what a great gift! +1.
By the satanically tainted nuns-chuff of MacAbernathy Cathedral you were not lying when you said you have a GA up yer sleeve!

O_______O¬

Not in - purely because I doubt I could run some of the top tier games on offer, dont know enough about the others and have (i think) all the Bullfrog games I can play right now.

Cheers though! ;)
NOT IN, but +1 for a fecking awesome giveaway!
