Coelocanth:
No high five? Or should I post a reason why I should win one first? ;)
I'm in for Divinity: Original Sin, please and thank you.

Dragonslayer from the early 80s - not the best fantasy movie, not my favorite, pretty cheesy - and yet.... those DRAGONS! No computer generated graphics. Tangible, scaly, fiery, stinky, huge, lumbering, scary, reptilian, voracious, heartless, animal DRAGONS! Oh, my! Best dragons ever! And the hero had to sneak into the dragon's lair to steal cast-off scales to make a dragon-fire shield from! Brilliant! I've always wanted to this in a crpg. High risk mission for the most resistant armor. A great method for a thief character who doesn't have the hit points or the heavy armor to go head-to-head with a dragon.

Be warned, lest you take my gushings as reason to go watch it right now - it is a cheesy film. But the mud is muddy, the humans are ordinary, the magic is mostly mundane and earthy, and the dragons are tangible. I like this film for all those reasons.

Cheers!

Oh, I well remember that one. And I like it for all the same reasons. :)
Wow! Awesome GA, Coelocanth!

I'm in for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

For SOME reason I can't attach a photo right now (WTF?)

But "She" is a

i7 3770k Ivy Bridge (3.5ghz) Intel 240GB SSD EVGA GTX 660 Ti Sabertooth motherboard, 8gb memory, with a 27" HD monitor, TT black gaming mouse, surround sound, 300mps(?) duel chnnel wifi and a backlit keyboard.. I also added an additional cooling fan just for good measure (I can't remember the attached heatsink..if that matters :P)

I really want to play W3 Wild Hunt primarily because I enjoy these titles and the more adult themes (What can I say, I don't apologize for it) I already have W1 and W2, so it's pretty much a need to complete the series as well...

I'll try to edit in the picture after I post, I have no idea why it won't add.. it's only a small jpeg

My "Girl" (damned micro-picture >.< )

I'm in for the Bullfrog Complete Bundle. I already have Dungeon Keeper Gold, which I've really loved playing so far, so I'm sure that all the other available Bullfrog games are of similar or better quality, judging by what I've seen and everyone else's ratings. I'd likely start playing Dungeon Keeper 2 to finish the series and Theme Hospital, since the nice graphics and style really interest me. :)

As for an amphibian:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/62/Hyalinobatrachium_fleischmanni01a.jpg

This is the northern glass frog, a species of (what else) glass frog. Glass frogs, or members of the family Centrolenidae, are generally a greenish color, but have translucent abdominal skin, making their internal organs quite visible. Pretty neat, I'd say :D
I'm not in for Bullfrog Complete Bundle because the only game I want is Magic Carpet 2. I've got almost all Bullfrog games either on CD or GOG, including a gem Genewars that's sadly not available here. I love them all and wish good luck to all who are in for them.

Here is a nice picture of an amphibian. Cool fact about it: it tastes yummy.

Not entering, but this is a very generous GA!
Thank you!

I'm in for Divinity: Original Sin because I've beaten and enjoyed Divine Divinity and Divinity 2, and this one sounds like the best yet in the series.

Favorite fantasy novel is Hour of the Dragon by Robert E. Howard. It's the only Conan novel written by Howard and it's as fast-paced and exciting as anything he ever wrote. It's set during Conan's time as king of Aquilonia and involves him being unseated from his throne by the resurrected wizard of an ancient kingdom. To get his throne back, Conan has to go back to what got him there in the first place, getting back to his days as a thief, pirate, mercenary, etc., traveling to the other side of the world for the means to defeat his enemy. It's a short novel but packs more into that space than most 600-page-per-book, multi-volume "epics" sold today.
I'm in for Divinity:Original Sin.

And have to say, surprisingly generous giveaway! Should at the very least give us an option to do something like one does for the selected answer to a question and give +5 instead of just +1. At the very least.

Why I want this game?
Because I tend to stick to fantasy RPGs (and in the odd case I look at another genre, usually fantasy TBS in that case, having RPG elements tends to be a priority) and I'm not keen on where the mainstream part of the genre went for the past several years, and all I saw and heard about this says it's definitely made with an eye on what RPGs used to be. Also, I have the Divinity Anthology, so would only be an expected addition to that, and I had a good opinion of Larian based on those games (well, less so Beyond Divinity) and what seems to me to be their general attitude and outlook.
(That good opinion definitely doesn't extend to their pricing policies here, mind you, and actually sat here for a while wondering whether to enter because of that, but since they're making a sale anyway and it won't be from a country with a hiked up price, eventually decided I might as well...)

Something about my favorite fantasy novel?
Well, this is tricky. Stick to epic fantasy, and you can't do that well in a novel, but you didn't say series. Then again, if you would have, it'd have been even trickier to pick, but as it is, I can sort of go around the issue by saying that two of my favorite series were also released as omnibus, and since the other is science fantasy, and either way if picking between the two, I'd have to go with The Black Jewels Trilogy.
Yes, there can be a feel of a fantasy soap at times, the darkness and brutality and the sexual elements may put off some (and get the attention of others), and Jaenelle is very much a Mary Sue, born with unheard-of powers, pure, kind, loving and destined to save the world, but what a world that is. Highly original while at the same time complex and actually working out very well; that's a rare mix. With all that's going on, the depth of several of the characters, the interesting systems that exist in that world, and all the pain and suffering and love and hope, it's... Well, more than the sum of its parts, really.
Does seem to be a rather love or hate case, though with a clear majority in the first camp. If hearing of it now, not sure if I'd get interested, but fell into my hands back then, read it in 2006, and sure am glad it did, as it definitely stuck in my mind. So rather than saying anything else about what actually happens, I'll just leave a recommendation here... Hope that still adheres to the rule :)

For a few more recommendations, quite different in terms of sub-genre, had a blog post... :)
Not in but thank you for your generosity. Great giveaway with excellent games here. :o

So a big +1 and Happy New Year! :)

Ah. Sigh. Childhood.

I enjoy the fact that my childhood enriches my adulthood.
Not in. +1 for the generous GA.
I'm in for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I want it for the sheer pleasure that W1 and W2 gave me and after seeing how hard CDPR pushes it quality and ambition wise I'm pretty sure it'll be the greatest one in the series so far and probably the best game for 2015.
But that is, of course, only my personal opinion.

My current rig can't run it (i3-3225, 16GB-RAM, 233GB-SSD) and that's because of the graphics card (a 750Ti ... or maybe it will on the lowest quality settings or something but that would be an injustice for this game) but I plan to update it as soon as the new 14nm Broadwell-K will be available on Q2 2015, along with a 970 probably and hopefully a new native PCIe SSD.

Thanks for your generosity and a happy new year to everyone!
I am in for Divinity: Original Sin , I want it because it is a classic-style RPG that has won several Game of the Year awards, and been praised for its tactical combat, dialogue choices, freedom, smart AI and big world to explore.

The Name of the Wind is a novel about a talented young musician name Kvothe who ends up studying magic and science at a university after his parents are killed, and covers his struggles with students and staff who dislike him, his efforts to pay his bills, study, play music, make friends, and most importantly investigate the death of his parents.
I'm in for Divinity : Original Sin

That game looks very promising. I hesitated a bit between it and Wasteland 2, but chose Wasteland because of the post-apocalyptic setting. But D:OS looks very promising. Turn based combat, multiplayer, a good story, it's on my wishlist ...

As much as I am found of fantasy games, I'm not that much into fantasy novels. I usually prefer adventure of sci-fi books. My preferred fantasy book probably remains "The Hobbit". The synopsis is known : a company is formed, that will allow the Heir to a dwarven kingdom to reclaim its due. The dwarves a somehow conned by a magician to include a young hobbit in the party because they need a thief. The adventure will lead the party to the mountain, to fight the dragon. The young hobbit will prove invaluable, but will return with a treasure that bears the seed of turmoil....

Thanks for the generous GA and Happy New year to you !
