Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe's Soundtrack is one of the best pieces of work I've seen for a WW2 game or movie, also one of my favourite games of all time.

Also, in case you're not aware, you can download the complete full version game Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe for free, it is all completely legal because it was part of the advertising campaign for Hidden & Dangerous 2.

Get it here!

Now back on topic, while the soundtrack is a master piece by all means, the song that plays when you complete a campaign in the game is absolutely fantastic, I invite you to listen to the complete soundtrack but if you want to skip directly to the song I'm mentioning just skip to 18:20 and enjoy!

Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe - full soundtrack

Cheers.

Here's the loop for it!

That's incredibly impressive! It has a real John Williams quality to it, and it could totally work in a Spielberg film. Now if only the game would come to gog :P

Indeed! it has a John Williams air to it, it can be an uplifting experience like the song I mentioned or an somber/scary one when things go sour (which happens a lot in harder difficulties ;).

Also while I'd love to have it here on GOG I tell you, if you like 3rd person/1st person, tactical action games, don't miss on it because of his absence in GOG!

Cheers!

'True to form it's got some pretty awesome parts :)
I quickly looked at the expansion features. Order halls sound pretty cool, as does item transmogrification, or something like that. I don't think there was a way to change an items appearance when I last played in Cataclysm.

Item Transmog is added at the end of Catacylsm by the way.

And oh man Demon Hunter class, We can Double Jump and Glide now.

Cool stuff, but are there any use for that though? WoW doesn't really lend itself to platforming mechanics?

I've always loved WoW's dungeons, with very few exceptions. My favorite I think will always be Blackrock Depths. I spent so much time there trying to reach the black forge to smelt dark iron ore.

Did you enter Molten Core through Blackrock Depths aswell?

No, me and a buddy started playing the game during the WotLK expansion, so we never got to do the vanilla raids, but we did try to check out a lot of dungeons by ourselves when we were high enough level to almost solo it. Early on I made a quite a bit of gold/silver from selling metal bars, and I thought I could make a killing with dark iron bars, because people were still buying the low level ores, and almost nobody was selling dark iron bars on my server. So I convinced my friend to accompany on trips to the black forge, which we only once managed to reach.

When we were still the appropriate level, we did join several groups for a run of the dungeon, which never failed to be awesome :)

Did you ever watch the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992 staring Gary Oldman?

Because man the music in that movie invokes this classic old school horror theme to them, espcially the Cellos and Violins:

I like the Guilty Moon's soundtrack:

Oh yes, it's an extremely effective piece, and thanks for reminding me of the film :) Currently I'm looking for some good films to watch that I missed, and Bram Stoker's Dracula is a perfect choice. I have seen bits and pieces of it, but never the whole thing.

Another Dracula film, or at least one containing Dracula, Van Helsing was a bit cheesy, but it did have isolated moments of brilliance, like the design of the werewolves and parts of the music, especially from 03:00 onwards

(kinda reminds me of King Kong for some reason)

Other than that, here is the latest epic track I've come across: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3pU67zxPOM

Beautiful. I don't why, but it immediately reminded me of Elfen Lied's theme

Wind of Madness stuck out from Resident Evil 5. Honestly, it's one of (if not the only) things about the game I don't find myself wanting to nitpick to death.
