Also, I think that context can be important to enjoying the music as well? For example, the last one is not just a song, it's a song about the prince that gave everything to protect his homeland and ended up damning himself and destroying everything he once swore to protect.

Too much to list, but some of my 'epic' favorite:

games

- full throttle end song
- alone in the dark 3 end song
- dune 2 end song
- some of legend of kyrandia music

movies

- intro to real steel (a lot of music in this movie are awesome)
- lots of song from the movie Watchmen (but then again, the movie pick the best song there is).
- <insert a lot of bollywood movies here. for obvious reason>

By the way : just because of The Event, which I suspect to be related to The Moment, I've been re-listening to some Torchwood tunes. And, well, yeah, they still work. Even if they kinda were the only things that worked, in that series.

Yeah :) Before this thread I had no idea Star Fox had such awesome music. As for putting me in the mood for space battles however, nothing beats: Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom. Admittedly there is a strong nostalgia factor there :P
